I’m Nwerem Joy Rebeccah from Nigeria and this is my first participation/post in the vibes web3 community. This is my first post in the community and I was brought onboard by @jessicaossom.
Choosing a song to sing as a first time participant wasn’t an issue because I was sure of what I wanted to sing already and why I chose this song is because it’s one of my faves of all time and it just suits my voice texture.
The major challenges I had while recording was the technical issues cus my phone is faulty and then my phones mic was just all over the place and it would sometimes go mute. It was frustrating but we did it anyway.
This song resonates with me; I was once in love with a boy one time, it was a very toxic entanglement but I just loved him so much so i stayed and the moment I felt like I had enough and want to leave I feel myself falling right back in love with him and it just made my hate myself so whenever this song came on it’ll seem like it Alicia keys was talking about me.
LYRICS
I keep on falling in and outta love with you
Sometimes I love ya, sometimes you make me blue
Sometimes I feel good, at times I feel used
Loving you, darling, makes me so confused
I keep on falling in and out
Of love with you
I never loved someone
The way that I love you
Oh, oh, I never felt this way
How do you give me so much pleasure
And cause me so much pain? (Yeah, yeah)
Just when I think I've taken more than would a fool
I start falling back in love with you
I keep on falling in and out
Of love with you
I never loved someone (Someone)
The way that I love you (Way I)
Oh, baby
I, I, I, I'm falling (Yeah, yeah)
I, I, I, I'm falling
Fall, fall, fall (Sing)
Fall
I keep on falling in and out (Out)
Of love with you (Love with you)
I never loved someone (Loved)
The way that I love you (I)
I'm falling in and out (Yeah)
Of love with you (Of love with you)
I never loved someone (No, no, no)
The way that I love you
I'm falling in and out (Yeah)
Of love with you (Of love with you)
I never loved someone (No, no, no)
The way that I love you
What?
