Hello everyone, welcome to my blog and to VIBES WEB3 MUSIC COMPETITION WEEK 21. I am Rubiiess and for this week's entry I will be singing a cover of What A Beautiful Name by Hillsong.
From the beginning of time, the name Jesus existed and in that name, there is power. Well of course every religion takes the name of their god to be the greatest, that is acceptable as we are taught to respect the believes of other people. Even at that, there is no name higher and no name that has proven to be greater than the name of Jesus. There are names of gods that also possess power but then, there are names and there is a name. The power in the name of Jesus surpasses every other and it's mighty to save and come to our aid in times of troubles. When we believe and stand by the name of Jesus with faith, then the name of Jesus will guide us in all our endeavours, the name will lead our path and direct our ways.
Talking about the power of the name of Jesus is so wonderful but we should not also forget that it is indeed a beautiful name with so much comfort, a name that is built on love. When all other names fail us, the name of Jesus would not. When people look at our faults, mistakes and then laugh at us, the name of Jesus will always comfort us. Our sin is so great that we feel we are not worthy of the love of God but God's love has always been greater than our sins. As someone who has seen the work and miracles the name of Jesus has done in my life, I will forever depend on that name, because I know and have full assurance that I would not be let down, I would be disappointed. I will continue to grow in loving the name of Jesus, my status as a Christians has exposed me to possibilities that I never imagined could work out, so I will stay and continue to love on Jesus.
