Today, I will share a match that almost lasted for half an hour where both teams fought tooth and nail until finally, the better team got everything they deserved; a sweet victory. I led my team, being a tank, while their team had an equally competent tank that led their team.

Without further ado, let's begin!

The Map And Rank

The map was at Sambali Monastery and the match rank was from Gold II to Platinum I, a wide match rank if you ask me. It was a classic payload push situation in this ginormous map making it extra tough; the opposition players could easily attack from any side or multiple sides, that way our defenses could be breached at any time. The same could be done to them when the sides would be switched. I am the tank and there were no friends with me this time as it was a competitive match.

Our team pushed the payload to their pawn point and the match lasted for 6 minutes. I had the highest kill and damage in the entire lobby with a standard death count of 4. I also had the highest damage negation.

For the second round, they also pushed the payload to our spawn point thus our scores were tied. This round also lasted for 6 minutes. I had obtained 11 kills, 5 deaths, and 7k damage with 8k damage negated.
Arguably, this was the highest stats gain in a single round, for me.

We barely pushed the payload to the first checkpoint as the match lasted only 3 minutes. I still retained the highest-kill title in the game while my adversary almost matched my damage negation stat.

Lastly, the final round defined how strong a team's morale and cohesion were. I merely got 2 kills while their DPS stacked up those kill counts and finally pushed the payload past our mark. Moreover, there was a major healing gap between their team and ours, this deficit cost us big time.

While it is not my pleasure nor am I proud it is my responsibility to say that their teamwork in the final third was some of the best work I've seen this season. How well their team came together while my team was dwindling in the thoughts of winning it in a breeze. I do hope to play against them and settle the score.
