Greetings, friends. I wanted to write a game review on Monday this week, as I do every Monday. I'm trying to make a habit of it now. I think things that are done regularly are always more successful. Anyway, long story short, the game I played this week was Portal2. And I have to say, I was surprised.

Is Portal 2 still worth playing in 2023?

I have to say that it didn't give me the same excitement as the first time I played the game. Because I know the story, I don't want to spoil it for those who don't know it, so I won't tell you the story now.

If you haven't played the game before, I highly recommend it.

And why is that? What is the plot of this game in a nutshell? You might be thinking why should I play this game after so many years? Here is the answer

Very enjoyable compared to other similar games.

As soon as I started the game, the first thing it made me feel was the same feeling I used to get from this game in the old days. The feeling of nostalgia. The scenario of this game is amazing and basically; that you're caught in the middle of a war between 2 different tester ai robots and you're trying to escape.

Everyone knows the Portal gun by now. 2 different ai robots (?) named Wheatley and you try to excape and GLaDOS starts testing(?) you. Somehow? No spoilers! Oh wow! What a story!? How did we get here? Can we escape? Do we need to finish all the tests? Now that I'm writing this, I wonder if AI technology can use us as test subjects... Hmm... interesting.

In addition, you will learn about these two enemies, the history of Aperture Science, and why everything is falling apart right now. If you haven't played the game before you'll see how dangerous this technology can be. They are trying to accomplish various things by using you. These achievements are not always positive for us. Sometimes it's not even positive for them.

Who will be free at the end of this story, who will win, how will their war affect you and can you find a way to be the hero? That's what the game is about.

Surprise Elements , Physics and Chaotic Puzzles

Because we have a portal gun, they can make the puzzles really chaotic. As you can see from the pictures, sometimes you have to do things from unexpected places in unexpected ways. Because the game doesn't have a difficulty level, so you don't have the option to play the easy puzzles, sometimes you can get stuck. Of course, nowadays you can look for solutions to these puzzles on platforms like YouTube, but I don't recommend it. It makes you very happy when you succeed.

You need to play the Portal 2, after playing the first Portal 1 game. It is a very nice and satisfying game to answer questions like where your character came from, what he/she has done, what the environment is like and who you are. So what do they say, cake is a lie? You can discover a lot of things from the first game in this one!

We need to finish the first game to recognize the character we play

We play the same character again and we have a history with the ai from the game. So we have a history with robots and you're very happy when you see references to the past. So you should play the first game first and then after you finish it, you should play the second game.

Portal 1 was a groundbreaking game. Portal 2, as a sequel to this groundbreaking game, has made its name in history in a very successful way.

Honestly, if Portal 3 came out right now, I would play it 1-2 times and finish it to remember it. Then I will play 3. It is such a successful game.

If you have played any game before you will definitely love Portal. I think it is one of the best games ever made. Also, the fact that it is Multiplayer is a great thing. It is such a great thing that I think I will play this game with my wife in the future.

I played this game multiplayer with one of my close friends and we finished it. You can play for 2 people. You play 2 robots. How are these robots made, where do they come from, you need to play the game itself to understand the story of this.

There are some games that I wish I could forget and play again, and this game is one of them.

Let me talk about the graphics quickly It's not up to today's standards, but it doesn't tire you out.

Sound effects and music: The music is not too intense and does not overwhelm you. However, the sound of the portal gun is already satisfying. Walking sounds and their effects are satisfying.

Sound Actors: Excellent. Excellent. There's nothing to say. Both Wheatley and GLaDOS have done voice acting with a quality that is truly ABOVE our expectations.

So i will give this game 7/10 in total. Even at 2023. The story makes the game worth playing. I hope that if you haven't played this game before, you will discover it through this article and have a great experience.
