God of War: Towards the Mountain.

God of War ²⁰¹⁸ was developed by Santa Monica Studio and published by Sony Interactive Entertainment and released worldwide for windows at January 14 2022. It's an action-adventure video game.

And then we successfully escaped the ruins and came outside. Now the current objective was to continue moving towards the mountain.

After coming out of the cave, I've found this magical bird or should I say the spirit of a bird? Well I threw the axe at it and I've got a new labor which is the Eyes of Odin and I got some XP as well.

As we moved forward, we've found a bridge and there was a dwarf named Brok trying to get his camel walk but the Camel seemed scared of something in the trees over there at the other side of the bridge.

Atreus asked me to throw my axe at those trees but I was confused about which trees to shot. Then Atreus told me to shoot the tree with the white trunk and orange leaves.

I threw the axe at that tree and it seemed like something just left the tree which was scaring the camel.

The camel got up and started walking. Both Kratos and Atreus joined then in passing the bridge as well and suddenly Brok said something to Kratos, something important. Brok was saying the he and his brother made that axe Kratos had.

Brok asked Kratos not to repair or fix the axe by someone else rather that Brok and his brother and he also offered Kratos that he can enhance the ability of the axe right away if he (Kratos) wants to but Kratos didn't believe what Brok was saying.

Then Brok talked about a sign that the axe had under the grip. Kratos checked and confirmed then Brok added that it was their brand and they (Brok and his brother) had split it, now he got half of it right here.

Now Kratos believed him and asked and upgrade for the axe. I did some upgrade on the axe and it looks like Brok's shop offers other upgrades as well.

So I upgraded some armors of Kratos and the bow of Atreus.

After I finished upgrading (I actually didn't have enough resources to upgrade more), I've found some monsters there and I tested the upgrade axe on them. Then I've found a way which I could use to go back to the places I was before to inherit some resources.

To keep moving, I needed to open this big gate and then hold it using the axe. And now we're in another ruins it looks like.

There were some puzzles to interact with and monsters to fight with and I overcame all of them.

And we've found the open view again and the mountain is viewable again. Now we continue towards the mountain.

Then we've found this puzzle which was really hard to crack but I didn't fail. After trying for sometimes, I cracked it down.

This puzzle says "Family" and its the answer, not the clue.

Kratos asked Atreus to use his knife and trace the runes into the sand which opened the big gate to the cave and they marched through the cave.

At the end of the cave, Kratos has found a foot trace probably of a boar and Atreus said he'll find it. Then Atreus started running in looking for the boar or whatever that is and its time I hunt with Atreus again.

In looking for a boar, we've found this big monster named Brenna Daudi and its time we hunt another big boss. It throws lava that keeps decreasing my health and it uses its big weapon to hit me. I better dodge those attacks if I don't wish to die.

Although this monster called out for more monsters (smaller of course) after it lost about 3/4 health but it didn't survive the wrath of Kratos.

The big wood was used to smash its head and now its over for the time being. I've found some resources from the monsters ashes and Ivaldi's Anvil was among them which is a heavy runic attack

There was this big crest that I wished to crack down but tis keys were different and hard to crack so I had to think deep and try faster. At last I opened the crate.

And I've found an Idunn Apple which was the last one to increase my maximum health and my maximum health was increased which is a great news for now as I'm gonna need some health in the road ahead as it seems.

Now who knows what happens in the following path? We'll check that out in another post soon.
