I have so many dope cars in my garage on Gran Turismo 7. Not only are there a lot of cool cars, but I've made each one of them stand out in a big way by designing a custom livery for each one. I've created so many designs that now I have a stockpile of cars to photograph in GT7's Scapes photography mode.
Out of the 100+ cars that I own in-game, I have decided upon my top 10 favorites. This is mainly going by their looks, but also a few were included just because they are incredibly fun to drive.
Every photo today was taken in Japan with cherry blossoms. This is my favorite type of scene to shoot in. It also just so happens that they added a ton of new Japanese Scapes to the game with the latest update. So here we are now taking full advantage of that.
Porsche 911 GTS RS (991)
The most recent of all the designs on today's list. I went with a retro vaporwave style, which happens to be one of my favorites. I love how it turned out and it is just as fun to drive as it is to look at.
Chevrolet Corvette C8
This is one of the most simple designs on this list. I was aiming for a realistic design that I would actually get if I owned a C8. Blue and green are my favorite color combinations, so that's of course what I went with. I think the bright blue wheels that match the secondary color on the body are so sexy. A few years down the road I may be lucky enough to own one of these cars in the real world. One can dream.
Mercedes-AMG GT Black Series
In terms of design, this one here is in the running for my favorite of all. I am just obsessed with the Green Hell Magno color, which is actually a stock option for this car. Combine that with all of the black accents and a bunch of cannabis-themed decals and you get this beast. It's also one of the most enjoyable cars to drive. This is certainly one of if not the best cars that I own in my opinion.
Audi TTS Coupé
If you know me, then you know I love Audi. This is my favorite Audi model on GT7 besides the R8. They are missing some of the cooler ones like the RS3, RS5, RS6, and RS7. I'm also obsessed with dolphins and the ocean. I combined my love for Audi and dolphins to create this epic design. It may not be the fastest car on this list, but it handles so well and has decent speed.
Ferrari F8 Tributo
This is the only car on today's list that look stock. Trust me when I say it is far from that in terms of performance. In terms of its looks, yes I did keep it the traditional Rosso Corsa color and even have the stock wheels on it too. It just looks too good as is to change and also Ferrari isn't too keen on their cars being customized. It lowers the respect for their brand they say, so prestigious. There is no harm in doing it in a video game, but I still decided to follow tradition. This is one of the most creative photos I've taken in the game. I love the distance from the lens and the reflection in the water.
Alfa Romeo Giulia GTAm
Although this car is Italian, the Quadrifoglio clover badge inspired me to go full Irish on this one. The combo of green with gold just looks so damn good to me. If I were to get to the other end of a rainbow, I'd expect this exact car to be waiting there for me.
Lamborghini Huracán LP 610-4
I had to do this one for Hive. This is how epic promo of the best blockchain in the world should be. Anytime that I join an online race and select this car, there are yet another few people who see it and wonder what Hive could possibly be. Plus I mean it is a Lambo and we all know how much crypto bros love their Lambos.
Lexus LC500
Another design that drew inspiration from Hive. Although this one is more focused on the beehive aspect of it. This LC500 is dripping in both honey and steez. I think this car has one of the best exhaust notes and it makes perfect sense to make it look as good as it sounds.
Porsche 911 GT3 (997)
This was the first design that I created in GT7. I have a lot of nostalgia for Pokémon, so that's the bulk of this design. There is still a lot more going on too. I couldn't decide whether the car should be blue or green, so I did a two-tone design where each side was a different base color. It's the same creative design all around, but I think the 50/50 look adds something special to it all.
Toyota GR Yaris
You may look at the Yaris and think there is no way this car performs well. That's usually the case, but not so with the GR Yaris. This car can scoot and I can't be having a badass car like this looking plain. I went all out trying to make this the sexiest car on today's list. If you love women, then you cannot help but love this design.
I am infatuated with all of these cars tremendously and I'm not sure I could ever choose a favorite. I do wonder which of the 10 cars you would select if given the opportunity.
I've spent countless hours designing and photography cars in this came. Almost as much as I have driven on the track. Gran Turismo 7 is a car enthusiast's dream video game.
More to come in the future, so stay tuned.
