Why is this so freaking scary 😱🩸🫣

I have to be honest, I straight-up suck at survival horror video games. As much as I enjoy a good horror film, I simply cannot finish horror games. My heart can't handle the pressure. That doesn't mean I wouldn't at least give the Resident Evil 3 remake a chance now that it has been added to the PS Plus game catalog.

Resident Evil 3 (2020) is a reimagined version of the 1999 classic survival horror game developed by Capcom. Set in the zombie-infested Raccoon City, players take on the role of Jill Valentine, a member of S.T.A.R.S., as she navigates through the city in an attempt to escape the relentless pursuit of the bio-organic weapon known as Nemesis. With enhanced visuals, revamped gameplay mechanics, and a more streamlined narrative, the remake offers both longtime fans and newcomers an intense and terrifying experience within the iconic Resident Evil universe.

The game excels in creating a tense and immersive atmosphere, blending elements of survival horror with intense action sequences. Players must scavenge for resources, solve puzzles, and confront grotesque creatures while evading Nemesis, a formidable adversary that relentlessly pursues Jill throughout the game. The remake's updated visuals and dynamic camera angles heighten the sense of dread and suspense, drawing players deeper into the nightmarish world of Raccoon City.

Resident Evil 3 received praise for its polished gameplay, enhanced graphics, and refined controls, offering a modernized take on a survival horror classic. Some gamers were dissatisfied with cut content that originally appeared in the game, but this remake more than justifies these minor changes. The game's fast-paced combat, strategic decision-making, and adrenaline-pumping encounters with Nemesis provide a thrilling and cinematic experience that keeps players on edge from start to finish. With its masterful blend of horror, action, and storytelling, Resident Evil 3 successfully captures the essence of the original while delivering a fresh and engaging gameplay experience for both fans of the series and newcomers to the genre.

la verdad me gusta mas el juego original de PS1

Hahaha what you mentioned at the beginning of the Post also happens to me, I'm forcing myself to finish Dead Space but damn it's very horrible hahaha. Hey, this remake looks BRUTALLY INCREDIBLE, I love it. Excellent gameplay, very fun xD.

I just added the Dead Space to my play later list on Xbox. I have a feeling it's going to be similar to how RE games are for me. They look and seem so cool, but once I start playing I'm just like NOPE!

I think this a good action game but an underwhelming remake. I didn't like that it lacks three entire locations, half of the bosses fight, alternative costumes and an extra game mode from the original. However, I can see how people who never played the original found it interesting.

Interesting. I couldn't make myself go back to play original versions of games even if the remakes aren't quite what people initially fell in love with. I like my games with a fresh coat of pain, aka I'm spoiled with modern graphics.

That's understandable, play retro games with dated graphics is not for everyone. In my case the gorgeous graphics did not compensate all the missing features from the original haha xD

As I could not play this fantastic remastering, I had to watch it on video, the truth is that the game is too epic, I'm glad they have not forgotten these games with the incredible graphics technology that is now.

It's amazing how they can turn a classic into an evolved version that meets modern standards.

I played through this a while ago. Such a great game that it made me sad when it finished so quickly. Still have to play RE 4 at some point.

Out of all the RE games that I've attempted to play, this one seemed the coolest to me so far. I am a big fan of the neon-lit city it starts you in.
