The future of Star Wars in gaming has the chance to be absolutely massive. One way they could change the game forever is by turning The Mandalorian series into an open-world RPG. That is exactly what Twitter user and Technical UI Designer for EA Dice GavMakesGames has done with his latest mockups.

Imagine being in control of the adventures of Din Djarin and Grogu as you explore a massive universe filled with interesting planets. It is the type of game that I could daydream about for many hours.

Seeing these very well-designed images of a potential Mandalorian game gets me so excited. Whether you love or hate most of the Disney Star Wars stuff, there is no denying that The Mandalorian is an amazing show. To have the ability to take that further and actually role-play as Mando in a video game would be insane.

In today's video, I wanted to discuss why I think this idea is something that absolutely must be executed eventually. We've got Star Wars Outlaws already revealed and coming out in a short time, but it is a brand new character and I feel like their first stab at a game of this type. If it does well, it could open up doors for The Mandalorian. Then of course they are still working on a Knights of the Old Republic remake, but who knows when we will actually get it?

There's a lot to discuss when it comes to Star Wars and I'll always support there being a crossover between the film and video game world.
