Perhaps this nostalgia will encourage you to find a way to start playing GT7. It is well worth your time. No rush though, the longer you wait the more and small issues will be ironed out & new cars/tracks will be added.

Whenever they finally brought the current GTR to life in 2008, I immediately fell in love. Even now in 2022, the current GTR is mostly the same besides a few slight changes and upgrades. It just shows how amazing that car was when it came out.

One of my favorite songs EVER! Unlike most people, Tokyo Drift is my favorite FF film. That setting is just too perfect, even with an odd main character.

I am in love with the whole grind of collecting cars. Most of all, I like turning the factory models into my own personal track gods with vivid personalities.

This is also possible in the Forza Horizon series. The newest is Forza Horizon 5. Have you tried it so far?

I played Forza Horizon 4, but not 5 yet. Horizon is really awesome, but they are more arcade style racing with an open world. I love that type of game, but have been in the mood for a sim racer. Also, I don’t own an Xbox anymore and streaming Forza through Game Pass on my iMac just isn’t the same since quality is capped at 1080p.

Forza Motorsport 8 should be coming out soon (maybe by the end of 2022) and I’m sure it’ll give Gran Turismo 7 a serious run for its money. But for now, Forza Motorsport 7 is the direct competitor for Forza vs GT and that came out back in 2017, plus isn’t even available for digital download anymore due to licensing issues. You can still get a disc copy, but some people have purchased consoles that no longer have disc drives, so they are screwed.
