The MMO tower with unlimited possibilities 🗼🧙‍♂️🧌🧝‍♀️

There's another new free game out on PS5 and this one doesn't even require a PS Plus membership. That's right folks, the famed MMO Tower of Fantasy is now free to play on PS5 consoles. You will also find this game available for free on PC and iOS/Android. This game is not currently available on PS4, Xbox, or Nintendo Switch.

Tower of Fantasy is an exhilarating and visually stunning video game that has captured the attention of MMO-loving gamers around the world. Set in a captivating fantasy universe, the game seamlessly blends elements of action-adventure, role-playing, and exploration genres to create a unique and immersive gameplay experience. The game's primary draw lies in its awe-inspiring verticality – players are presented with a colossal and intricate tower to explore, each floor brimming with mysteries, challenges, and creatures to conquer.

One of the standout features of Tower of Fantasy is its emphasis on dynamic combat. Players are armed with an array of weapons, magical abilities, and strategic tools, allowing them to engage in thrilling real-time battles against a diverse range of enemies. The combat system encourages creativity and adaptability, enabling players to tailor their play style to suit their preferences. Moreover, the game's meticulously crafted environments showcase stunning landscapes, from lush forests to sprawling cities, all interconnected within the towering structure.

Beyond combat, Tower of Fantasy places a strong focus on exploration and collaboration. Players can team up with friends or join forces with other adventurers to tackle challenging quests, uncover hidden secrets, and solve intricate puzzles. The tower's complex design offers a mix of vertical and horizontal progression, encouraging players to traverse its levels both upwards and sideways. This unique approach to exploration cultivates a sense of discovery and curiosity, as players unveil the tower's enigmatic lore while forging their own narratives within the game. In essence, Tower of Fantasy stands as a testament to innovation within the gaming realm, inviting players to embark on an unforgettable journey through a world teeming with magic, danger, and endless possibilities.

In today's video, I will be giving you my first impressions of Tower of Fantasy on PS5. I typically try to stay away from MMOs due to the likely time suck. It's not that I don't like them, I think it's the fact that they are quite addicting. I still wanted to give the latest MMO on PS5 a try. Time to see what I thought of it.

Thanks for watching and be sure to drop any comments you may have down below, I will get back to everyone.

Waooo, amazing.

yo, Daltono bro I played this game on my Android phone before it was launched, I agree that when playing MMORPG you will be stuck at time and you will not notice how long you are playing. MMORPG is so addicting that you want to be more stronger and compete with other players. Anyways have you tried Ni No Kuni Crossworlds? that's an NFT MMORPG that also has amazing skills effects and UI.

I’m honestly not too fond of MMORPGs these days. It’s just too much of a time suck and often the fetch quests just bore me to death.

To answer your question, no I haven’t played Ni No Kuni Crossworlds. I’m going to at least look it up though.

I see, that this kind of MMORPG like TOF and Genshin has no automatic navigation or autoplay when doing quests, unlike other MMORPGs like Dragon Nest, Ni No Kuni. and Ragnarok Origin has that feature and it will save you a lot of time to finish the quests but yeah I think you are more on FPS games now? Anyway, good content here bro I wish I had ps5 too hahaha. Game on!

This looks very good
And the beginning of the video is lit!

Thanks for sharing this. I checked through the site and will try it on Mac computer. I love the quality of the game.

Are you sure it is on Mac? I know it's on iOS and it does support windows. I'm not sure there is a native Mac version though.

Thought I saw mac. Windows should work for me. I have a windows os too.

It's not my kind of game, but it's definitely of interest to a lot of players in the Hive Gaming community because I've seen this game many times in Hive GC. Graphics and animations looks impressive 💯

Me either bro. I feel like a robot playing these types of games. Run across a map forever... button mash some attacks.... talk to NPCs... constantly upgrade items. Rarely is that play fun to me anymore. If it is, then it's usually a single-player game.

I know a well-done F2P game will have some popularity though. Some people only play free games, even though I have been doing that a lot more often here lately. There are some great ones out there.

Chinese?
Not my kind of gameplay but definitely something interesting.
The characters really look like it’s straight from an anime show 😅

Yeah it looks like the studio is based in China. I’m not sure if that’s common or not. I feel like studios from Asia are usually Japanese.

Anime lovers MIGHT like this, but it is not for me.

I actually thought it's Japanese too because of how it looks like but when I heard the sound, ah I was wrong.
True, they might like it. I don't remember playing this kind of game though. Not for me too.

I’m sure you can tell the difference in the language as soon as you hear it. You certainly must know what Japanese sounds like. I almost never hear people speak any Chinese or Japanese languages here where I live.

Really? No Chinese or Japanese over there? I thought Chinese or Japanese people are everywhere. 😂 Or maybe there are but they speak in English 😅

I live in West Virginia and we lack diversity big time. There’s few Asians of any type and if they are here they mostly just own or work at respective restaurants. My state is basically just backwoods people who like to drink beer, ride atvs through the mud and eat fast food.

Glad to see your review about this game.

Un nuevo juego, me parece 😀😃 maravilloso.

Hen Hau!!

:) beautiful and fun game. I luv the art/style..

Hen Hau is much easier to read than 很好

😂 true.

The visual effects are stunning, I like the entry of the girl in the first half of the video.

Gorgeous looking game, but MMOs are very hard for me to get into.

Mm.. the story of the game might be real in the future.

I really love the entry though ☺️

I got to play it in the closed beta, then when it came out I also dedicated a couple of days to it, but I got tired of the combat system, but it's normal since MMORPGs that are for mobile users usually simplify them a lot. The Gacha system I liked a lot, it was also very comfortable for F2P, but I ended up leaving it because I felt like I was stuck in the game.

Clearly, the game is very entertaining, as it has a large map and many things to do. In fact, you can spend hours playing it, but I quit simply because I didn't like the combat.

As visually appealing as this game may be on consoles and PC, it ultimately is a mobile game and highly simplified because of this. I’m going to guess that we both didn’t love this game because we are used to playing much better games, not necessarily that Tower of Fantasy is inherently bad.

Exactly. In fact, it's great that it's on almost every platform or console. Hopefully, it will always go well for the company as they are very good with F2P users, something that almost never happens.

The first glance at the gameplay reminded me of back when I played PSO and PSO2...which is pretty cool, though the HUD and overworld also reminds me of Genshin (as much as it sort of annoys me to have that as the default comparison, but it does look quite similar if not trying to capitalize on its popularity)...but it is pretty cool that you can customize your own character though like a proper MMO. Was pretty funny to see presets for Tanjiro, Levi, Itachi...it sure does make some sort of sense to see them there when they are community made presets after all, which in itself is a VERY cool feature (though it would suck if you couldn't save your own lol).

It is sort of odd feeling that while this would have been a neat visual style to see back when no one was doing it...so many games are doing the "anime cel-shaded characters in not so cel-shaded overworld MMO" thing because of how Genshin exploded when released.

Would be really cool to see a game go all the way with that style (like Hi-Fi Rush did; seems dope but don't think it might run on my PC, I can just about play Tekken 7 at 60fps with everything in low), but at least for those online type games, I think the only one I would really play again/try to go back would be the Phantasy Star Online games if only because of nostalgia and the simplicity factor (PSO1's combat is quite simple compared to every other entry, but at least wouldn't need to track stuff like stats and equipment mumbo jumbo lol).

I used to love Fantasy Star Universe on Xbox 360. It was one of the first MMOs that I ever played and that was the main reason I was so fascinated by it. Heck, it may have actually been the very first one I ever played, I think it was 2006 and I was 13 or 14 years old.

I think saying it's a cross between Phantasy Star and Genshin is an excellent observation. I think you are spot on with that.

Another game in this style that was fairly new and pretty cool was Scarlet Nexus, not an MMO though.
