It has been a roller coaster so far
Man, this game is a ton of fun. Apart from just running around the city and slashing zombies to pieces, this game has a really fun story as well.
One of the really cool things about the game is that the story can go in so many different directions. There are basically two stories that I know of right now and I wonder how different they are.
Early in the game, you can choose to help the Peace Keepers, which is like a military faction or choose to help the people of the Bazaar, which are basically like the common folk just trying to survive.
I chose to help the Bazaar, but at first, they didn't really seem to trust, me. But after a few missions, you start to gain their trust and become a part of them. Meanwhile, it is pissing off the Peace Keepers and they begin to hunt for you.
The main thing you are trying to do is to get to the center of the city to find your sister, but to get there, you have to kind of dismantle the Peace Keepers. I just made it to the center and there were so many crazy twists along the way.
Normally in these types of games, you are bombarded with quests that have you running all over the place and meeting so many random people that it is easy to forget them along the way. This game is a bit different, because there really aren't that many people left, so you begin to get to know the people that are left and there are so many different side quests where you begin to care for them and it kind of sucks when some of them die.
Overall, I am having a blast with this game. It is way better than I was anticipating it would be. It kind of makes me want to get the first one after I am done playing this one and see how that one is.
I am going to stream for a bit, so if you catch this post, I will be playing a bit and progressing through the story.
