![]() Hi guys after a week of inactivity I have proposed to play something new for me and decided to opt for a video game that some time ago I saw in several videos of known YouTubers, however, beyond the simple fashion of playing it I want to try it because after reading the description on Steam I discovered that it has an interesting plot and tells a raw story seen from an innocent perspective of the character “Little Misfortune”. ![]() This integral adventure began with a creepy cinematic where death pointed a direction to the fox as if sending him to carry out some order, but this will become clearer as we progress. ![]() For now, the fox begins his journey through a portal that opened from an ancient tombstone. ![]() Now with a sweet and innocent style we arrive at the house of the little girl who is playing in her room, meanwhile a narrator explains crudely that she is “Misfortune” nicknamed so, since she is fantastic, but her family is not, making it known at first sight that probably the parents of the little girl are irresponsible... ![]() Something interesting in this game is that Misfortune could also hear the narrator, so she will constantly be conversing with him breaking the fourth wall, and this I discovered, since the narrator was saying that she was a sweet girl, but unfortunately she had to die and this comment was heard by Little Misfortune. ![]() Meanwhile, the little girl invites us to see her secret den under her bed where she explains that she likes to be when her parents argue, it is like her fort or escape, there she shows us her precious toys and the most important thing which is her diary, we review a few pages, and we see that the innocence of the little girl is intact and that is why she does not understand why her father beats her mother. ![]() I think I already mentioned a while ago the fact that the game is innocent due to the point of view of the little Misfortune, but for us, who are adults, obviously we will understand details that we have discovered throughout our lives. And basically that's what this game is based on, from my point of view it's like the fact of losing innocence in a chaotic world that once when we were little we didn't understand, but for the misfortune of some of us we had to face situations in a not so appropriate moment of our childhood. ![]() ![]() A clear example of this innocence of performing actions without being bad is the fact that the girl was running down the hallway and inadvertently stumbles and ends up damaging a vase, but she tries to make amends by putting the vase together with each piece, however, that fact of later seeing the vase glued we see those big cracks from a distance, so metaphorically we could say that this is how you see the cracks of those unpleasant memories that are kept from childhood either by irresponsible parents or abuse. In short, there are things that no matter how much you go back to mend they will never be the same as before like that broken vase. ![]() A clear example that we could see coming from the beginning is that this girl's parents are dysfunctional, starting with an alcoholic mother and a practically absent father. The crudest thing is that the girl, while talking to the narrator whom she calls “Mr. Voices”, comments that when she grows up she wants to be like her mother or be a “juice” drinker, which I don't understand because of her innocent view of reality. ![]() We see that also the food that the mother of the little one cooks is not the best to be said... ![]() While the Misfortune girl goes out to explore the outside which seems to be crude, but she sees it with positivism using her glitter which is like a glitter that she throws at everything she finds, because according to her, it makes everything look better. ![]() The girl was about to cross the street, but suddenly a scene appeared where there was an almost demonic place doing allusion to death while a monster is approaching in the distance. Luckily, it was just a hallucination or imagination of the little girl, but I think it is interesting to pick up the theme at the beginning with the following question: Why does the narrator say that Little Misfortune is going to die? Well, at the beginning the narrator mentioned something important: that she should follow his game in order to achieve eternal happiness, which could translate to death or something like that, because I think it would be a way of not deserving a miserable life because of her parents; however, this point is still not very clear, so we will continue playing in the following days... ![]() Leave a comment!Requirements to play: Requires a 64-bit processor and operating system. ▶️ 3Speak |
