Hola amigos || Hello friends
Hace unos días estuve hablando con unos conocidos sobre nuestra niñez y todos concordamos en aquella no tan pequeña consola de videojuegos llamada NES (Nintendo Entertainment System) y lo que mucho que nos divertíamos con ella. Cómo no recordar aquellos tiempos de diversión y entretenimiento. En una ocasión les conté que mi NES me la obsequió mi madre una mañana de un 25 de diciembre.
A few days ago I was talking with some acquaintances about our childhood and we all agreed on that not so small video game console called NES (Nintendo Entertainment System) and how much fun we had with it. How could we not remember those times of fun and entertainment. I once told you that my mother gave me my NES as a gift one morning on December 25th.
He compartido muchísimo videojuego que pude jugar con mi NES y es extraño que no recordara este que hoy les compartiré. Bueno, no es tan extraño para mí. Aunque me encantan mucho los videojuegos de deportes, nunca he sido tan bueno en básquet. Vaya que intente con muchas versiones de la época como por ejemplo, NBA basketball. No cabe duda que hubo muchas versiones de basketball en la Nes pero ninguno como Doble Dribbe.
I have shared a lot of video games that I could play with my NES and it is strange that I did not remember this one that I will share with you today. Well, it's not so strange for me. Although I love sports video games, I have never been that good at basketball. I tried many versions of the time, such as NBA basketball. No doubt there were many versions of basketball on the Nes but none like Double Dribble.
Puede que una de las razones por la que no recordaba este videojuego, es que nunca fui tan bueno jugándolo. Ni este, ni otros. Lo he intentado en mi Xbox 360 por supuesto, con versiones actuales. No soy tan malo como el de la Nes y eso me puso a pensar muchísimo. ¿Es tan difícil este Doble Dribbe? ¿O sinceramente soy tan malo? En fin, ya lo notarán en mi gameplay. Por favor, pido un poco de compasión cuando lo vean, tenía muchos años sin jugarlo ja ja ja...
Maybe one of the reasons why I didn't remember this game is that I was never that good at playing it. Neither this one, nor others. I tried it on my Xbox 360 of course, with current versions. I'm not as bad as the one on the Nes and that got me thinking a lot. Is this Double Dribbe so difficult? Or am I really that bad? Anyway, you'll notice it in my gameplay. Please, I ask for some compassion when you see it, I had many years without playing it ha ha ha....
Doble Dribbe es un verdadero videojuego arcade el mismo fue lanzado en los 80s y luego fue llevado a las pantallas de casa con la Nes. No les miento cuando digo que el videojuego puede ser bastante desafiante. No recordaba que fuera tan difícil enfrentar a la CPU pero no cabe duda que es un juego que logra transmitir muy bien la adrenalina y el ritmo frenético de lo que es un juego de basketball.
Double Dribbe is a real arcade video game, it was released in the 80s and then brought to home screens with the Nes. I'm not lying to you when I say that the video game can be quite challenging. I didn't remember it being so difficult to take on the CPU but there is no doubt that it is a game that manages to convey the adrenaline and frenetic pace of what a basketball game is all about very well..
La mayoría de las veces que pude jugar Double Dribbe fue en compañía de amigos o algún primo que estuviera de visita en casa. De ese modo se me hacía más entretenido y es que todos éramos malos jugándolo. De esa forma mis nervios no se alteraban tanto, más bien la risa siempre estaba presente. Sobre todo los gritos ya que teníamos esa adrenalina a mil apretando tantos botones que nos inventamos algunos en los controles ja ja ja...
Most of the times I was able to play Double Dribble it was in the company of friends or a cousin who was visiting at home. That way it was more entertaining and we all sucked at it. That way my nerves didn't get so upset, rather the laughter was always present. Especially the screams because we had that adrenaline rush pressing so many buttons that some of us invented on the controls ha ha ha ha....
En fin, ha sido muy bonito compartir con ustedes este clásico de la Nes y conversar con ustedes de mi niñez y mis historias con los videojuegos. Fue bastante productiva esa charla con viejos amigos pues después de este gameplay me he quedado en la cancha intentando ganar por lo menos un partido. Aún no lo consigo pero no me rendiré como dice aquella canción de la película de Disney, spirit.
Anyway, it has been very nice to share with you this classic of the Nes and talk with you about my childhood and my stories with video games. It was quite productive that chat with old friends because after this gameplay I've stayed on the court trying to win at least one game. I still can't do it but I won't give up as that song from the Disney movie, spirit, says.
