Hello, Splinter Fanatics!
In Splinterlands, no battle will be the same as the last, for various reasons, because it all depends on the collection of cards that each player has, the rules of battle for the match and the strategy adopted by each player, among others. Because of this infinite number of possibilities, Splinterlands is dynamic and fun.
Sometimes you have to improvise, especially when you have few options, or even when you have a lot of cards available. That's why it's important to always focus on growing your collection. The best way to do this is by playing and earning Glints tokens to buy Reward Soulbond cards, or by playing in the Brawl to earn Merits that can buy Gladius packs.
In this way, the player gradually evolves their Rewards cards, which enable them to have good card options, to reduce the amount they pay in rent every day or to avoid buying certain cards.
This week I managed to upgrade a Gladiator card that I use a lot in battle. I think most players love QUORA TOWERSHEAD as much as I do, but my second favorite Gladius card goes to CAPTAIN KATIE.
From the very beginning, KATIE has the ability Snipe, because she will attack the monsters in the back that usually provide support (healing, armor repair, poisoning, among others). Generally, these monsters have low health. So here we have an opportunity to defeat the enemy monster and still activate the Bloodlust ability.
I had CAPTAIN KATIE at level 5 and after opening a Gladius pack I got the missing copy to put her at level 6. At this level she gains the ability Divine Shield, which will give her extra protection, since she has average health.

After introducing CAPTAIN KATIE, it's time to introduce her in battle with her new ability. I really like this gladiator, as she has a very good Win rate in various battle situations. Check her out!
Next we had a battle in the Modern format, which has plenty of mana available, which favored the use of Legendary Summoners. But with only Splinter Death and Life available, I decided to take a chance and choose Splinter Life's Soulbond Summoner, FRANZ RUFFMANE, which makes it possible to choose a gladiator for the battlefield.
My opponent chose Splinter Death with summoner THADDIUS BROOD, which reduces the health and magic damage of our monsters by (-1). This is a big problem, since most of our monsters have magic damage.

At first I observed the enemy monster in the rear, which will be hit by Snipe. And to my misfortune he has a lot of health and armor, which will make it difficult to activate the ability Bloodlust 😥.
When I use a gladiator, I like to deploy monsters that have the ability Martyr to stand next to that monster. In this battle I used two monsters with this intention: IZIAR and VENARI MARKSRAT.
IZIAR was quickly defeated in the first round, after all the attacks were aimed at it. And it increased the stats of KATIE and CORSAIR BOSUN.
For a moment, I thought we weren't going to win this battle, as our team was decimated. All that was left was KATIE as the main tank and VENARI MARKSRAT at the back against an avalanche team. However, KATIE was able to beat all her opponents with her offensive attack.
Some points to note:
In this battle, our team was at a disadvantage due to the magic damage debuff applied to our monsters.
The opponent had a very offensive attack, thanks to their team composed mostly of archers, but their disadvantage is when they get to the first position they are unable to attack and that's what guaranteed us victory.

Em Splinterlands nenhuma batalha será igual as anterior, por vários motivos, pois tudo depende da coleção de cartas que cada jogador possui, das regras de batalhas da partida e da estratégia adotada por cada jogador, dentre outros. Por essa infinidade de possibilidades Splinterlands é dinámico e diveritido.
As vezes é preciso improvisar, ainda mais quando temos poucas opções, ou até mesmo quando temos muitas opções de cartas disponíveis. Por isso, é importante sempre apostar no crescimento da sua coleção. A melhor maneira de fazer isso é jogando e ganhando tokens Glints, para adquirir cartas Reward Soulbond, ou jogando no Brawl para ganhar Merits que podem comprar pack Gladius.
Dessa forma, o jogador vai ao pouco evoluindo suas cartas Rewards, que possibilitam o jogador a ter boas opções de cartas, para diminuir o valor pago em alugueis diáriamente ou evitar comprar certas cartas.
Nessa semana eu consegui upar uma carta de Gladiador que utilizo bastante em batalha. Acho que a maioria dos jogadores adoram a QUORA TOWERSHEAD assim como eu, mas meu segundo lugar de carta Gladius favorita vai para CAPTAIN KATIE.
Desde o nível inicial KATIE possui a habilidade Snipe, pois ela irá atacar os monstros nas retaguarda que geralmente dão suporte (cura, reparação de armadura, envenamento, dentre outros). Geralmente, esses monstros possuem baixa saúde. Então, temos aqui uma oportunidade de derrotar o monstro inimigo e ainda ativar a habilidade Bloodlust.
Eu possuia CAPTAIN KATIE no nível 5 e após abrir um pack Gladius consegui o exemplar que faltava para colocá-la no nível 6, neste nível ela ganha a habilidade Divine Shield, que dará uma proteção extra, uma vez que ela possui uma saúde mediana.

Após apresentar CAPTAIN KATIE é hora de inagrurá-la em uma batalha, com sua nova habilidade. Gosto muito dessa gladiadora, pois ela tem um Win rate muito boa em diversas situações de batalha. Venha conferir!
A seguimos temos uma batalha no formato Moderno, que possui bastante mana disponível, o que favorecia o uso de Invocadores Lendários. Mas, com apenas os Splinter Morte e Vida disponível resolvi arriscar em escolher o Invocador Soulbond do Splinter Vida, FRANZ RUFFMANE, que possibilita escolher um gladiador para o campo de batalha.
Meu oponente escolheu o Splinter Morte com invocador THADDIUS BROOD, que reduz a saúde e dano mágico dos nossos monstros em (-1). Isso é uma grande problema, uma vez que a maioria dos nosso monstros possui dano mágico.

No primeiro momento observei o monstro inimigo da retaguarda, que será atingido por Snipe. E para minha infelicidade ele possui bastante saúde e armadura, o que dificultará ativar a habilidade Bloodlust 😥.
Quando utilizo gladiador gosto de escalar monstros que possuem a habilidade Martyr para ficar adjancente a esse monstro. Nessa batalha utilizei dois monstro nesse intenção: IZIAR e VENARI MARKSRAT.
IZIAR rapidamente foi derrotado na primeira rodada, afinal todos os ataque estavam direcionados para ele. E aumentou as estatísticas de KATIE e CORSAIR BOSUN.
Por um momento, pensei que não iriamos vencer essa batalha, pois nosso time foi dizimado. Restando apenas KATIE como tanque principal e VENARI MARKSRAT na retaguarda contra um time avalassador. Porém, KATIE com seu ataque ofensivo foi capaz de vencer a todos os oponentes.
Alguns pontos a serem observados:
Nessa batalha nosso time estava em desvantagem devido ao debuff de dano mágico aplicado a nosso monstros.
O oponente possuia um ataque bastante ofensivo, graças ao seu time composto majoritariamente por arqueiros, mas a desvantagens deles é quando chegam na primeira posição ficando impossibilitados de atacar e foi isso que nos garantiu a vitória.
