Horizon Zero Dawn: Into the Borderlands.

I would like to talk about a chapter of Horizon Zero Dawn which is called Into the Borderlands.

Into the Borderlands
Main Quest: It appears that Erends sister Ersa was kidnapped instead of slain, but many questions remain. Where is she? Who is responsible? And why?

To know the truth and to look for Ersa, now Aloy will do a quest alongside Erend and some of his men.

To start this mission, I needed to meet Erend at the Palace of the Sun in Meridian and after I entered Meridian, I started running towards the Palace of the Sun.

Then I've found Blameless Marad who greeted Aloy and asked her to go with him as she is needed for an important consultation.

Now I started following Marad to join the important consultant and I think I should find Erend there. While I was following Marad, there were some tribe peoples in a line and I don't know why they were there but what I knew was that I was breaking the line, lol.

Aloy has found Erend at the Palace of the Sun and there was someone else named Avad who looked like a prince/king with a crown (later I've found out he's the king of Meridian) and he greeted Aloy and asked Erend to tell Aloy what he's found.

After checking Ersa's tomb, Erend made it sure that the corpse was not Ersa as the corpse was missing a scar below her right knee that Ersa got when she was a kid.

While they were talking about Ersa, Marad said that Ersa had an enemy among the Oseram who is a warlord named Dervahl. And Marad sent an agent to investigate at the marketplace in Pitchcliff.

Then Avad asked Erend and Marad so that he can talk to Aloy personally and he was kind of begging Aloy to help him find Ersa. Looked like Ersa was a lot to him and I wished to know what Ersa means to Avad. Then Avad replied that without Ersas Oseram Vanguard, he'd not have been able to liberate Meridian and end his fathers brutal reign.

Well then I left Meridian when I had the objective to go to someplace called Pitchcliff first to get the news about Dervahl.

And first I overridden a Broadhead and then I destroyed some Broadhead there to loot some Sparker as I need them to craft fire arrows and I understood its worth at the previous mission when I was unable to craft fire arrows at the time I needed because I didn't have enough Sparker.

Then I started riding a Broadhead towards Pitchcliff when I've passed many dangerous paths full of dangerous machines as you can see in the screenshots.

I even found this huge worm alike machine that incublus would definitely address as Cyber Worm (LOL) and this machine was following me through underground and it was moving so fast that I thought it'd catch me anytime.

And at last I've reached Pitchcliff.

I had to keep the Broadhead outside as I can't enter this place with the Broadhead and I needed to meet Marad's operative that was talking about using investigating about Dervahl.

Searching for Marad's operative, I've found Erend there who reached them before me it seemed and it seemed like he looked for Marad's operative already and didn't found anyone.

Now I needed to find Marad's operative and after activating the focus, I've found tracks of someone and I started following them.

And we've found Marad's guy dead leaving a map using his own blood it seemed. The map indicated the location of Dervahl's Camp.

Now I needed to go to Dervahl's camp and Erend already left for the camp with his men.

I've found Erend and two of his men at Dervahl's camp waiting for me.

There seemed to be a lot of bad men and they chained some machines there and it seemed like they were torturing the machines like that.

We decided to merch forward and we kept moving slow and silently so that they don't detect us before we take action but it was hard to operate this fight.

We unchained some machines so now we needed to be safe from both the machines and Dervahls men.

We started fighting the bad guys there and I tried to take the safe ground after getting killed for a bunch of times (I removed those silly moments from the video :D).

Now we just had to kill the outlanders and machines and it seemed real hard to do that.

But look what I've done. I've pierced through the a** of that a**hole, hahaha.

Now that we killed all the outlanders and the machines, I had the objective to find Ersa and I've found this basement.

And there were some activated sonic devices that throws high pitched sounds and waves so Aloy couldn't enter the basement.

And there came Dervahls Champion with a big weapon on his hand and I think this is the weapon they used to paralyze Ersas people in the battlefield where Ersa was captured.

First Aloy hid herself as Dervahls Champion was using this deadly weapon that can kill Aloy easily.

I had to fight him from a distance so that he can't shoot me and I kept shooting him with arrows, different types of arrows actually. And he released a chained beast machine which was harder to take down as well.

So I went outside that area where they were not following me and I kept shooting them from there and killed them.

Then Aloy took the devices from Dervahls Champions ears that he was using to be protected against the high sounds and waves.

Now with the help o that device, I could get close to the sonic device that was setup in the basement workshop and I disabled the sonic device so that Erend can enter as well.

And we've found Ersa lying there and being tortured by another sonic weapon which was activated and creating waves automatically. Erend destroyed it.

Then Erend went close to Ersa and Ersa seemed alive but not good. Looks like Dervahl was torturing Ersa to know something out of her.

Ersa was saying that Dervahl is planning something big in Meridian. He said, he'd force Avad to watch as the smoke darkens their precious sun. Then Ersa died on Erends hand.

Now Erend is worrying about how they'll find Dervahl in a big place like Meridian.

So Aloy started searching for anything that can help them find Dervahl easily and after searching the workshop, I've found Dervahls journal which may help us find him easily.

And the quest was completed at that point.
