Splinterlands Pack and Updates
Today I opened another pack due to the fact of getting enough potions from rewards claims to be able to maximize the pack opening. In my last one I picked up a legendary and a gold Rare card so to be fair my luck would most likely run on on my next pack opening right?
While I wouldn't consider this pack unlucky I did get a gold common card and hey those gold foil cards even the lower end ones fetch a few bucks over time so no hard there! At the current price point that gold foil card is listed at $1.09 but go back to beta deck and your looking at $30+ or Untamed around $5+ so not bad for a $4 pack. These cards also help to boost the power of my deck which right now helps in the SPS airdrop.
The main goal for me on the SPS front is to hit 1 million SPS staked by the end of this year. That's only 8 months away so we really need to start hammering it.
I'm curious what payouts will be looking like for guild and matches along with land etc compared to the air drop. A part of me feels like I might actully get more daily from all of those things.
A part of me kicks myself for not selling out when SPS was around $0.50+ but when I look back at it the vouchers over time and SPS generated I feel have already off set this and in a way I'm happy I continued to stack even during those high points. At just $0.11 now SPS is a huge deal and I foresee it increasing back up to the $0.50+ levels once a number of features roll out this year.
I believe we will see
- voucher store
- more special promo cards that use SPS and vouchers
- a new deck of cards that can only be bought with SPS (maybe vouchers as well)
- SPS having some type of bonus or feature for lands and land release
For me this opens up huge possibilities and a solid reason to stack SPS at these low levels. I have a feeling Splinterlands is about to explode in popularity again we are just kind of at a mild point right now half way through the sale of Chaos packs.
