Hello all, I've been posting a lot of TFT posts lately and I felt like I needed to move on to something different. Don't worry, there will be more TFT posts coming soon, but today we're talking about a completely different game. Dealer's Life! If you like trading you will be addicted to this game.
You can watch the video of me talking about the game here. Yes, with commentary!
I haven't restarted the game and I'm quite advanced now. I can even say that I finished the game haha. Because it made me addicted in an interesting way. In the game, people come and try to sell you their products. As you improve your "Knowledge" feature in the game, you start to guess the price of the products more accurately and your goal is to buy cheap and sell expensive. The logic is simple but sometimes there can be problems in practice.
You have 4 different attributes in the game. Knowledge, as I just said, allows you to know the prices of items more accurately when buying. Charisma makes your customers more honest with you. They make the first bid and it is easier for you to bid accordingly. You also sell fakes more easily. Intuition allows you to get to know your customer's personality, and you can also recognize and avoid fakes being sold to you. Luck helps you to be luckier in any situation that may happen to you in this game.
Here you can view the name of your shop, its status and your shop costs.
There are also people who work in our shop. They all have different tasks. For example, the mechanic repairs your items and makes sure that you sell the items that are in bad condition and that you bought cheaply at a high price. The expert will help you find out the price of items you don't know the price of, or help you find out if you have been sold a fake product.
There are a lot of little references in the game. For example, you all know this game, World of Warcraft, but in the game they called it World of Peacecraft. I don't know if it's because of copyright issues or if it's just a reference.
As you can see, I bought a product for 50k, which is worth 59k dollars, and when I sell it, I'll put some profit on it and probably sell it for 80k dollars. Not a bad profit for a game, huh?
Here's an example of a sale, I bought a product with a value of 5.7k for 4.5k and now I'm selling it for $9k. So I made 100% profit!
I bought a product worth 250k for 200k and sold it for 350k. I think it's a great deal. The lady came with a bag of money. Looks like we're gonna be rich.
Every day in the paper we see ads for shops for rent, people looking for work, auctions or warehouse wars. We can pick our employees here, or if we want a better shop, we can find it here. There are also some funny anecdotes. If you play the game you will understand what I mean.
Here is a WWE championship belt. Actually the price wasn't what I wanted, but it's much more profitable to sell expensive things. For example, if I sell this product for 300k dollars, I can make many times the profit I make on cheap stuff in one go.
I participated in an auction and managed to buy a 355k item for 330. It doesn't look very profitable, but wait until I sell it.
On the same day a lady came and bought it for 500k. It was the best sale I have ever made. Definitely a good profit!
A golden antique armor made in 437 year? In this game, items have levels and the highest level is mythic items. This is one of them and I should definitely buy it, but I can't see the price.
Thanks to my negotiation skills I managed to get this armor for $340k. I've never made a $1 million sale in this game and this could be my first $1 million sale. I just need to find out the price from the expert.
One of my customers brought a Game of Thrones statue. Of course I have to buy it, it's very valuable.
And here's something even more valuable. A Pokeball! It's legendary and in very good condition. It's worth 760k dollars, and I managed to get it for 460k. It's the best deal I've ever made, and I'm going to make the biggest sale of this video because of this Pokeball. I wish I had the chance to keep it, but I really need that money.
I sold this pokéball for 1 million 140k dollars, much better than I expected, it was an amazing deal! I made 680k dollars profit from a single sale, which will help me a lot to rent a bigger shop.
General Thoughts about the Game
I can't criticize the graphics or the world of this game because that's not its purpose. It's a cheap and simple game to play when you're bored. I think it's a lot of fun and if you play it for 1 hour a day, it can take you up to 2 weeks to finish it. If you play without stopping, I don't think it will take that long, you can finish the game in 10 hours. It's well designed and I like the references. Also some of the products are very good, it's nice to see things you like in real life like pokéball, game of thrones statue, terminator statue. Otherwise you would just buy and sell boring stuff. That's why I rate the game 8/10.
Thanks a lot for reading and I hope you enjoyed it and you're having a great day. I wish you all a great day. May your profits be abundant!
