Hello my friends, how is your day going? I'm starting to feel the cold. For a few days the city I live in was sunny and warm but now it feels like ice. You can probably guess where I'm going from here, in This War of Mine, we continue our fight against the cold. We are getting closer to the end.

Day 37

We started the day without any attacks, which I think is good news at a time when crime is rampant.

A rat is caught in a trap. That's another good news. Let me ask you a question, would you eat a rat if you were really in a difficult situation? That's a very difficult question to answer and I guess I won't know the answer until I'm in a really difficult situation.

There was a report on the radio that it is going to be harder than ever to get fresh fruit. I think what he means here is vegetables. Fortunately we have a garden for that and we grow our own. I don't even want to think how much material I would have to give if I tried to barter for it.

I'm sure my characters get bored inside the house, so sometimes I take them outside for a walk, which doesn't affect them at all in the game, but it makes me feel good. I don't want the people at home to think that they are living a prison life.

Since I've already been everywhere, it's time to revisit some places. I'm going to go to the harbor, I think I haven't explored it completely, let's see what I can find.

The masked man was still there, he looks like he's waiting for someone, but I don't know what he's up to. No one was waiting at the equipment upstairs. So I took some of the stuff that was useful, I'll have to come back to the place with the saw. There's a place there with bars.

Day 38

Some of the people at home were upset that I was stealing, but others say it's true, that we are in a difficult situation. Friends, we are at war and we need those materials. And this is a game, don't be so emotional XD

It's supposed to get cold again, not like winter cold, but like a fall chill. And he advises us to have a glass of wine. I think he's being sarcastic. We don't have wine at home, and if we did, I would use it in barter instead of drinking it 🤣

My barter friend has come to visit us. Since no one is sick, I have some extra medicines and I have traded them for supplies. I hope we don't have a big attack in the last days.

After a long wait I was finally able to harvest vegetables again, I really need them for cooking. Otherwise it would be difficult to get enough water and meat for food.

When night came, it was clear that I would go to the harbor. I had already made the saw during the day and I had one more thing planned, I was going to kill the man there.

He was sitting there planning to talk to someone. He didn't even notice me and I killed him and I'm glad I did because he had a gun and he could have killed me. I remember seeing a news report earlier that the harbor had been taken over by bad guys.

I didn't find a lot of supplies but I found a lot of weapons, a machine gun and a lot of bullets. I already have this weapon but you already know what I'm going to do with it, I'm going to trade it.

Day 39

We were attacked again, we are being attacked very often nowadays, I hope our ammunition is enough to defend us. Fortunately, on nights like this, I can bring home ammunition.

Cveta is upset because of the person I killed. She was the last one to come home and she didn't contribute anything, and I don't understand why she's talking nonsense. We had to kill him, so we killed him. Should we mourn for that?

They say on the radio that marauding gangs are going crazy and attacking houses every night. I'm glad they realized that, yes they attack me every night.

Nothing else happened during the day, we just ran around the house, left and right, no one visited us.

Tonight I did something I have never done before, I stayed at home. The marauding gangs are bothering me a lot and there is nowhere normal to go outside. So instead of looting, I decided to stay at home on guard.

Day 40

We were attacked again and wasted 10 bullets! Man, at least 4-5 people could have been killed with that? Who is attacking us? An army? Please end this war.

Our friend, with whom we were looting recently, comes to us this time and asks us to help him rob a hospital warehouse. While the others sound harmless, this one makes no sense to me at all. A hospital is not like any other place, I can't steal supplies from the patients there. Even though my neighbor insisted, I refused.

Jesus Christ! Cveta is driving me crazy, the other day she was upset because we killed a man and now she says we should steal the medicine. Is stealing medicine from a hospital any nicer than that?

Nothing else happened during the day, and I'm glad it didn't because I would have gotten angry.

At night it was the right decision to stay home again and keep watch, so that's what I did. There's nothing I can go out and get.
