Hello, gamers. Welcome back to my blog.
I got some positive feedback on my last gameplay video posted a few days ago. So, I decided to continue it. This should help me get better in both speaking and presentation skills. Just ignore the video quality, I am working on upgrading my PC until then it is what it is.
Anyways let's talk about the gameplay session if you don't want to watch the entire video.
I logged into the wide-open grasslands of Silver Ridge Peaks Reserve. I love hunting on this map because it has less vegetation around lakes and other need zones which makes it easy to locate animals.
I had some trouble finding animals at the start of the video. I expected a lot more animals around the big lake but there were none and it was a bad time of the day when not many animals usually drink... so, without wasting much time I went back to an outpost and changed time. I changed it to get some bisons drinking near the lakes.
Soon, I was distracted by Pronghorns as they were just about to leave their feed zone and travel to another zone. I took down one with my 7mm rifle.
It was a perfect heart shot which dropped him instantly. Here is a clip.
We saw another pronghorn he was even bigger than the last one. I shot him in the lungs as well (Timestamp 14:00) and he got down quickly.
I harvest him and went back to the lake where I knew I can find some Bisons drinking water. There was a hunting stand near the lake as well. So, I climb up there and saw two separate groups of Plains Bison drinking near the lake. There were tall reeds but these huge beasts were still very visible and I was on the elevated structure so I could spot them easily.
I used my bow as it is the most silent weapon I had and I could take down many with my bow. My bow was powerful enough and has the best penetration in the game. An arrow can travel from behind and can come out of the lungs easily. Look at the following shot.
I almost took down the entire group. Even lost count of how many I got after this rampage. I was making my shots in some intervals so as not to spook them. Never harvest this many animals from the same group before. They should be announced as critically endangered species after that session xD
Moving on I quickly travelled to another location, way north in the hilly areas. There was a small lake that has a good population of Bighorn sheep so I went there but I couldn't take a shot from my bow. I tried to get closer but saw another target. A nice-looking Mule deer with a good set of antlers.
I got some Bighorns as well. Nothing too special but still were silver medals. I saw a flock of Merriam Turkeys as well. I had my .22LR with me and it holds 10 rounds so it was easy to take down all 4. .22LR has one of the least recoil in the game as well. So, taking down all 4 of them was not too difficult.
This one was the best among them, a nice gold... almost touching diamond medal.
I used my ATV at the end to collect my harvests and my session ended with something very funny. I won't tell it but just watch the last 20 seconds or so and will know what I am talking about.
Thanks for reading...
Until next time...
