Found a good teammate in Rocket League!

Hello, gamers. I hope you are doing well.

Someone asked me why I play Rocket League this much and I had a simple answer because I love this game, despite it being so frustrating a lot of times and me hard stuck in Diamond II and III forever. I play it almost every day too. It's the only game I bought the pass for... I will tell you my progress on it later.

Today, I played it quite late and playing this late session has its advantages. I just play on the India server and after midnight not many Indians are in the lobbies which increases the chances to get players with a little more ping and that can help you get a few easy wins. I know it's not a good strategy but everyone deserves one or two easy games...right?

I mostly play 2v2 which is my go-to game. But 3v3 is fun too when you have two other friends to play. For a couple of months, my third friend has not playing RL and I am just limited to duos for now. But today, I was solo-quening and found a good teammate who matched my vibe. His playstyle was similar to mine and focused a lot on passing play.

I was mostly solo-queneing and then I played a good game with this player so we decided to party up and play together. It went well. We won most of the game and even the games that we lost, we lost with a small margin.

There were many highlights in this session and I decided to make a few clips from this gameplay. I wasn't playing too well at the start but it improved and we scored some cool goals. My favourites are those that involve demo play.

So, here is one, I play as a disruptor for the most part and when I see any chance to get a good bump or demo on the defender, I go for it. Sometimes it backfires and we end up getting scored but luckily this one worked out well.

Rocket Pass Updates!

The last time when I shared my Rocket Pass progress I was at tier 109 and now I have reached 140. I just need to have 100 levels to recoup the credits I spend on the rocket pass every season and I easily make it every season. In fact, I make 100 extra which I can collect to get a nice item from the shop.

I don't have any targets to reach, I have already reached all my targets for this season's pass. And there are still more than 3 weeks left for the season to end.

The rewards are not that great for this season but I love the goal explosion bubbles. That's what I am using with my Fennec car preset.

Time to show my overall stats. I have played exactly 10227 games with a win % of 53.3%. I noticed that my win percentage has increased by 0.1% after a long time. In these 10K+ matches I got 5K+ wins and almost half of that as MVP which makes sense as I play a lot more 2v2. The MVP ratio would have been worse if I had played more standard (3v3) matches. And a total of 10136 career games! Just recently crossed the 10K games mark. I got a healthy win percentage, above 53% and now over 17K career goals (Yeah, I have wasted my life on this game...lol), averaging 1.7 goals per game is not bad at all.

• You played well, but your teammate sucks!
• You didn't lose, the server was laggy!
• Only if you had a better monitor and graphics card!
• Your little brother was playing the match!
• They were Smurfing!
• You didn't sleep for two days straight!
• And the most important one: They were Hacking!
• Your mom called you in the middle of the game!
• Your girlfriend was texting you during the game!
• You were getting death threats from your lender!
• Gaming Gods were angry at you!
