Hello and Welcome back to my blog!
Last week I shared a post where I crossed 300 Million Police bounties but this time I went a step further and achieved a whooping 400 Million Bounty. But unlike the last time, I could not cash in the bounty reward as I was caught in the end. This was a 30+ minute pursuit run flooded with the best police car (Cross) in the game.
And like the last time this would not have been possible in the Vanilla game as the heat level doesn't go up to heat 10 there nor you will have this many cops chasing you all the time. So, I used those couple of mods again...to help me reach that wanted level and increase the number of cops spawned at all times.
Here are the links to both the mods if someone wants to try them out.
Other than adding more cars and increasing the heat level all the other parameters were the same. There were a few improvements in graphical aspects too.
It was a long one. Going for more than 30 minutes on Heat level 10 where hundreds of Cars chase you and never go away. It is no easy feat to achieve. One of the best strategies is to keep moving and try to dodge roadblocks and narrow roads or they will catch you easily. Also, maintaining some speed at all times is crucial or they will go in front of you and apply breaks which will trap you on the spot. The use of a speed breaker becomes very crucial as well. You will see me use it a lot of times, especially when approaching roadblocks or hitting a police car from the side. That makes your car heavier and your hit deals a lot more damage.
Also, don't stuck behind the dead cop cars. These cars get so heavy that you can't move them easily. And more often than not, these are the reasons for the end of your chase in this type of pursuit.
I recorded the video for my YouTube channel as I am trying to upload more quality videos there to grow my YouTube too. I would appreciate it if you watched the video, liked it, and told me which part of the chase you liked the most in the comments on that video. Here is the complete chase. Enjoy!
To achieve that 400 million bounty, I had to destroy as many cops as I could. The best way of doing that is by breaking the 'Pursuit breakers' at regular intervals. Also, you need to keep the cops close while you do that so, you can see me slowing down when I approach them.
It was a lot of fun. These mods make the game a bit more difficult and interesting. I have played a lot of Most Wanted and now the Vanilla game feels a lot easier as compared to when I was playing it as a kid. That's the reason I installed some mods which adds more excitement to the game.
I love to perform some stunt jumps and take shortcuts whenever I can. It is really fun watching the Cops having this low sense of self-preservation too. Who knows how much budget is allocated to the Rockport Police Department? They seem to have thousands of cars and many helicopters at their disposal.
I achieved the 400 million bounty milestone but got busted soon after that. There was no escape from that position. They trapped me well. I couldn't even move and it was a narrow road with hundreds of police cars stuck like a jigsaw puzzle. Even if they tried to move, they couldn't. It was so densely packed that some cars were on top of the other cars...lol.
How do you expect someone to escape that? And it all happened so quickly. All it took was a couple of sideways cars in front of me. I don't remember if it was a roadblock or not but after I got to a stop, more cars poured in from both ends of the road and didn't let me move.
But all of this destruction only cost me 875 so it was fine...lol.
I had a little more than that xD.
I was a bit disappointed at first. I had a chance to cross 500 Million for the first time but it didn't happen. But I will keep on trying to get that half-a-billion bounty and maybe one day I will have like two two-hour run and get to a billion bounty. Who knows?
Let me know if you liked the video. Constructive criticism is always appreciated.
