Moonkarts: Gameplay looks fantastic.
Moonkart, is one of the latest games in the Hive engine and I decided to give it a try, I have played a lot of games in the blockchain and Moonkart is the latest addition to my playing list. I already have a stake in Splinterlands (SPS tokens) and GLX (In the Genesis league), which gave me an airdrop of the colony tokens. Since I am optimistic about the Playtoearn space, I decided to keep my colony tokens with me I am already familiar with the platform but missed the game launch as I was away from blockchain last year due to some other personal commitments.
So I finally decided to play the game and landed on the Arcade colony page and then selected the Moonkarts there to reach Moonkarts page and able to login to game using my Hive keychain. Since I am existing user of invennium platform ,my email id is already registered along with my Hive username. If you are completely new then you need to register with your email id too.
"Race Now" landed me on a stage where I got the option to play as a Single player or the Multiplayer version of the game. But wait before you decide to play on Singe player or Multiplayer, you should have the cards on the game on your account.
To hit the race track, you at least need 2 cards i.e Kart and Driver. I made my first purchase of these 2 cards using SCRIPT token from Hive-Engine and transferred those tokens in the game.
You can buy the cards in the Arcade Colony market and buy the desired cards if you see the below image, there are a lot of cards that can be added to make your driving optimized in the game and make you more competitive.
As you see in the image I have only added (or you can say "Equip" ) the card in my card and cart. You can simply click on that "+" sign and you will get to your cards page and after selecting them you can equip them as you can see in the below image. Once you have "equip" all the available cards then you can "Start Race" to get started on the race track.
After successfully "equipinng" my cards , I hit the race track.
I have successfully completed my track and got my win.
My 2 cents on the game.
I can definitely say I loved the graphics of the game, though initially game took little long (or unity engine I guess) to load but rest of the experience is smooth and no issues encountered. Without reading any guide, I am able to figure out the order of things to get started in the game when I landed on the site , so I can say UI/UX experience is also good for me.
Having so much dynamics, it make interesting and super competitive but allowing players with minimum cards helps player to have fun without burning the pocket. There are so many mechanics in the game that I right not able to explore and experience but with time I am definitely going to check it.
Game is definitely making strides on play 2 earn community as you can check the below tweet in the "X".
