Let's talk about Dragons this week for the Share your Battle Weekly Challenge. Dragons are indeed extraordinarily powerful and I would like to say that they are very effective in battles. They help me win many battles, even the toughest ones. Dragon cards in my deck usually cost high mana, so I usually prefer Dragons in battles of 45 mana or more, and I would like to openly say that I love teaming up with them. Among the Dragon cards I own, my favorite dragon is CHAOS DRAGON. I adore Chaos Dragon and it's a very smart dragon that attacks very mercilessly against enemies. I wish all battles were over 45 mana and I could use Chaos Dragon in all battles I would probably win 80% of the battles. I hate to see Chaos Dragon on the opposing team I think no team would want to fight against Chaos Dragon. I would like to say that not only Chaos Dragon but also all dragons add strength to my deck.
Fire & Regret
Keep Your Distance
Mana Cap 52
- Fire & Regret rule means all Monsters have the Return Fire ability
- Keep Your Distance rule means Monsters with Melee attack may not be used in battles.
The battle ruleset had Fire & Regret and Keep Your Distance rules, so it was clear that it would be wiser to prefer Magic Attack Monsters in this battle. I could guess that the opposing player would also prefer Magic Attack Monsters.
I chose the Dragon Summoner Delwyn Dragonscale as the Summoner in this battle because all friendly Magic Attack Monsters would have +1 Magic Attack thanks to Delwyn Dragonscale, and I could also add Chaos Dragon to my team. Since I thought the opposing player would prefer magic attack monsters, I wanted to have a powerful defense against Magic Attack Monsters on the front line. That's why I put BAAKJIRA with the Void and Slow Ability in the first position on my team. I put DJINN OSHANNUS with Void and Phase Ability in second position on my team. It's not easy to beat BAAKJIRA and DJINN OSHANNUS with magic attacks, so I put these two monsters in the first two positions.
I put RUNEMANCER KYE, who has the Flying and Life Leech Ability, in the third position on my team. The most important reason I added RUNEMANCER KYE to my team for this battle was because she has the Life Leech Ability, because every time RUNEMANCER KYE deals damage to an enemy Monster's health, her health increases in proportion to the damage dealt. In battles, I have to consider every possibility, so I thought the team might need Armor just in case, and I put VENARI WAVESMITH with the Protect Ability in the fourth position on my team. I knew my team would be in great need of the Tank Heal Monster in a battle like this, so I put MERDAALI GUARDIAN with the Tank Heal Ability in the fifth position in my team.
I would also like to point out that in this battle, I took care to put the monsters with high health on the front line, but I put the low health VENARI WAVESMITH and MERDAALI GUARDIAN in the fourth and fifth positions to keep them away from enemy attacks. Otherwise, they could have destroyed it too easily with enemy attacks, which would have ruined my strategy.
I put CHAOS DRAGON with Flying Ability, Scattershot Ability and Blast Ability in the frost position on my team. Chaos Dragon is a dragon that can be very effective in battles and can do very effective attacks, so I put it in the last position. Since the Chaos Dragon attacks randomly and has the Blast Ability, it is much more useful when in the backline. Chaos Dragon can deal damage to three enemy monsters at the same time or even destroy three enemy monsters in a single hit (I will give an example of this below.). I usually use Chaos Dragon on the back line of my team and usually put it in the last position or the penultimate position, I think it's much more efficient there.
Descriptions of abilities of monsters in my team
- Void Ability : Reduced damage from Magic attacks.
- Slow Ability : Reduces the Speed of all enemy Monsters.
- Phase Ability : Magic attacks can miss this Monster (using the same hit/miss calculation as for Melee and Ranged attacks).
- Flying Ability : Has an increased chance of evading Melee or Ranged attacks from Monsters who do not have the Flying ability.
- Life Leech Ability : Monster's health increases each time it damages an enemy Monster's health in proportion to the damage dealt.
- Protect Ability Ability : All friendly Monsters gain +2 Armor.
- Tank Heal Ability : Restores a portion of the Monster in the first position's health each round.
- Flying Ability : Has an increased chance of evading Melee or Ranged attacks from Monsters who do not have the Flying ability.
- Scattershot Ability : Ranged and Magic attacks hit a random enemy target.
- Blast Ability : Does additional damage to Monsters adjacent to the target Monster.
Round 1
Our strategy with the opposing player was somewhat similar, we both put the same monsters on our team's front line. Also, after summoners gave +1 Magic Attack to all friendly Magic Attack Monsters, the opposing team's attack strength was 14 in total, while my team's attack power was 12 in total. But it was clear that having a Tank Heal Monster on my team would be a huge advantage in this battle. While all monsters had highly effective attacks, the Chaos Dragon's attacks were much more effective. Chaos Dragon's first attack hit the opposing team's backline, dealing damage to 3 monsters at once.
Round 2
Both teams continued to attack with all their might, but the absence of Tank Heal Ability monsters on the opposing team and the fact that my team had a Tank Heal Ability Monster started to change the balance of the battle. In addition to this, the effective attacks of the Chaos Dragon allowed my team to gain a great advantage in battle.
Round 3
Since the opposing team attacked stronger, I lost my first position monster even though I had a Monster with Tank Heal Ability in my team. But we managed to destroy the monster in the first position in the opposing team. Chaos Dragon continued to attack the opposing team's back line and the opponent's back line was taking serious damage.
Round 4
Chaos Dragon showed an incredible performance in this battle, almost destroying the opposing team's back line alone. Indeed, the opposing team was very helpless against the attacks of Chaos Dragon.
Chaos Dragon destroyed 3 monsters at once in a single hit, which was really admirable. That's why I love Chaos Dragon so much.
The battle lasted 5 rounds. My strategy worked pretty well in this battle and my team put up a really great fight. Especially Chaos Dragon was excellent in this battle. I recommend you to watch this great and challenging fight and the excellent performance of my team from the battle link
