Hello everyone on this noble platform and the Hive ecosystem at large, I am very excited to write and share this wonderful article here with you all and I hope that you guys will enjoy reading it as well. It is me again here and about to share another update regarding the Moon Karts game. In my previous post, I indicated the steps I took to register an account and I am glad to have come that far.
Today, I will be sharing the game mechanics and how to play it with ease. In each race that one starts or plays, there is a 2-minute standard timer, and once those two minutes are over, the first 50% of racers are termed as winners. This indicates that to be among the winners of a race, you must be able to finish among the first 50% of racers and earn rewards. Certain factors can be used to measure your performance and they include health, handling, acceleration, and speed.
You might be thinking all these are features of your car so you need to upgrade only the parts of the car but you are wrong. Upgrading the driver to a higher level will also improve your game performance. There are two main modes of gameplay and they are single player also called the practice mode and the multiplayer mode. With the multiplayer mode, once you choose it, the game will automatically search for an active player and get him or her paired with you to race.
You can have up to 6 players in a single race and during the 2-minute time duration, you can earn COLONY tokens from the game by collecting them on the track while racing. Also, another token called Orbitals can equally be collected in the game and these tokens are just in-game tokens that can be used to purchase some of the in-game items and collectibles to upgrade your car.
There is one important feature in this game which is the fuel, you need more staked Scripts to produce fuel for your car. After every successful race, you consume fuel, and does will require that you fill in your fuel before getting to the next race. If your car doesn't have much fuel, you realize that your movement is very slow, and also the handling will be hard for you to control the car.
