Hello hivers all over the world, please have my warm welcome to the post dedicated to the Social media challenge, a space where we have the chance to share our reflections in battles and gameplay, points of view and even art dedicated to this great project called Splinterlands. By this chance, the theme of today's sharing will mainly about my Splinterlands Journey and it is the 6th year of Splinterlands. To trace back my memory, it is been my 3rd year in Splinter verse and how time had past real fast when we are all enjoying.

Discovery of Splinterlands

It was the November in 2021, there was a crypto hype in the market and I notice that it could probably be the chance to have some funs and make profit in crypto. So I start studying all the mechanism in cryptos and just have a brief introduction to make sure that I must clearly know that what I am investing. As a result, I make my first step into the crypto. And then I accidently watch a trailer in YouTube and get know about Splinterlands.

The Idea of Splinterlands is pretty awesome so that I give it a shot to buy a Summoner Spellbook to enjoy the battles with 10 bucks. The attractive point is that I can own my assets and I have the choice to rent them out for rental incomes or sell them when I need liquidity. Simply speaking, the virtual assets in Splinterlands are like the real estates in our life. We can rent out our house for rentals or sell them when we need money, and the most important thing is that the threshold of entering Splinterlands is not that hard.

Duration of Participation

My journey in Splinterlands started since November 2021, so it is almost the third year of my battle life in Splinterlands and blogging on hive chain. It is always hustle to accomplish my daily rewards and my job in workplace. As a result, although it has been 3 years and I still feel that time flies. It seems that just happened in last month.

Time Spent in Splinterlands

Trust me, playing Splinterlands is definitely an enjoyable thing in your free time and it is not time-consuming at all. Taking me as an example, I play Splinterlands when I am free and have nothing to do only so that I can chill out with the game. As a result, it is not time-consuming to entering the battles. Moreover, you can skip the battle if you are hurry to grab your glint reward and juicy SPS reward.

Accomplishments

For me, I am not a whale and only spent some spare money to invest in Splinterlands. It could take a little part of my whole investment portfolio which less than 10%. However, I did buy some cards with potentials that I think the price will go up in the future. And here's my summary for the account.

As I remember, I have approximately 3000 USD value in my account, but now I only have about 30% value left according to the market price. However, I think those NFTs will stonk one day in next hype, so that I try to hold those cards and rent some of them out for some extra income. Also, for my preference, I'd prefer owning them instead of renting from others to finish my daily focus since I can play whenever I want.

Besides that, I also worked hard in the SPS airdrop period to accumulate my SPS amount since I think the SPS is the souls of Splinterlands. When the number of players increase in the future, the price of SPS also pump as well. I stake all my SPS to receive some extra interest.

Upcoming Goals

Here comes the great question. I do have some expectations for myself in Splinterlands. Based on my current situations, I play a lot between Gold and Diamond League as you can see in the following pictures.

However, my win rate in Gold League is not satisfied in my opinion. The main reason is that I do not have too many Soul Bound reward cards. As a result, I think I should try to stay in Diamond to grab more glints and have some more new card draws.

My former goal of obtaining the full max chaos legion set is done and now I try to buy cards from other modern editions that are undervalue to become my own assets and assist me in my battles. In my opinion, the summoner is always the very first priority to max and purchase before the battle start, as it could affect the level of the card you use in the battle which is super important.

What's Next in Six Years of Splinterlands?

Right, we are going to have a wonderful trip on May 31st: a massive Modern Splinterlands Open tournament. THIS IS THE BIGGEST TOURNAMENT OF THE YEAR, WITH A 1ST PLACE MEGA-JACKPOT OF 1 MILLION DEC AND THEN SOME!

3rd Place: 4 Plots + 45,000 DEC

Advice for Beginners

If you noticed from my sharing, many of my posts talked about communities and friends. I think in a gaming journey, playing on your own is such a boring thing. But when we have a community behind us and friends to share about the gameplay, it gives us a more sustainable gameplay.
