Hive Random Comment Picker - latest updates

Welcome to the latest picker update.

Answers encoding/decoding

If you're organizing a contest or giveaways where participants have to answer a question and there's only one correct answer, I've implemented a solution to avoid copy-paste replies.

How it works?

Users need to visit https://hivetools.up.railway.app/answers/, enter their username and answer. After submitting the form, a hash will be generated, which represents their answer. Users should then enter that hash as their answer in the comment.

To randomly select winners only from those users who provided the correct answer, go to the picker, simply click on "extra options" (1) and enter the correct answer (not the hash!) in the designated field (2).
The picker will choose a winner from the correct replies. Additionally, a list of users who answered incorrectly will be displayed at the bottom.

You can see example in one of my giveaways.

Followers +1 entry

Users who follow you will receive an additional chance to win.
Please keep in mind that if you've selected this option and choose more than one winner, there's a possibility that the same player may be a winner twice!

Sorry, it works already.

Hey man, this post doesn't look like gaming related and it shouldn't be in Hive Gaming community. You can still share your gaming posts here 😊

Hmm, I created this tool specifically for this community. I thought it would be a perfect fit here. Well, I'll remember for the future.

it would be great if it would show all the post comments participants, without having to do that hashing thing, it would help the draws ^^ looks interesting even so

I can make it display all user posts, but if there are, let's say, more than 5, it would take up a lot of space. Moreover, it is in no way related to hashing the answer. If you want it to randomly select users with unhashed answers, just enter the answer in the "required word(s)" field.
