A Little Glimpse Of Seekers Of Tokane

It's been a while since I made a Hive gaming post. I've been a bit busy but I will try to start this back up. Today, I want to share a game I did for a creator bounty called Seekers of Tokane.

Seekers of Tokane is a rougelike JRPG. You start of in the village of Blanche where you teleport to different landscapes to fight and catch nefties. Nefties are kind of like Pokemon. You can level up and evolve these Nefties to be stronger!

Currently, there are two game modes. One is PVE where you travel around to collect crystals and fight wild Nefties. If you are lucky, you can get an egg drop from killing one of the wild Nefties. This egg can be a standard egg or prime egg. A prime egg can mint an NFT Neftie but you'll have to pay aurory to hatch it. As for the standard egg, the price to hatch it is 500 crystals. The game is free to play since you can play with standard Nefties. The main differences I'm aware is that it's easier to level up Prime Nefties and prime Nefties can earn better rewards from PVP.

This leaves me at the other mode which is PVP. In PVP, you can fight against other players and earn sub tokens of Oka and Toke. These sub tokens are used to distribute the weekly $A.ury pool which 90% is for Oka and 10 for Toke. The thing here is the standard Nefties can only earn Toke so you need Prime Nefties to earn more. I think this is a good concept though because free to players can still earn and eventually own their own prime Nefties and earn more if they want to play long-term. If they want to earn more faster, they can buy from the marketplace which gives demand for prime Nefties.

Honestly, this game has a lot of potential. They even do seasonal events from what I've seen. They had a Halloween event before and a Christmas event coming up. Check out this tweet below I found from twitter. Someone sold a 5 star ancestral prime Neftie for $2k USD. That's not bad for grinding and playing a game!
