Well Hello There Fellow Gamers And Hivers!
In the last episode of Days Gone, Boozer nearly killed Deacon because of hallucinating. This was something that both Boozer and Deacon should have known would turn into a problem, yet the other problem was that there isn't much of anything left nowadays and the thing that is running out faster than fuel is medication.
Boozer needs some strong antibiotics and he will need to get it as fast as possible. Deacon decided to head down to Lost Lake Camp. Where Iron Mike is running things! The last time Deacon and Boozer left they were warned not to ever return because _Iron Mike _ would not be as forgiving as he was.
This posed a problem for Deacon and he had to find an alternative way into the camp and what alternative way is there other than having to sneak into it.
Boozer Is Standing At The Edge.
Boozer needs help real fast and I'm not even sure if I had the antibiotics in my hands at that very moment if he would even be able to pull through all of this, the man seems to be sinking further and further into madness which means his blood is getting more and more poisoned every passing minute.
The problem was that he had to stay awake, both for the sake of staying alive and to keep an eye on any freakers that might wander by too close and want to feast on him.
The Lost Lake Camp.
This is not going to be easy at all.
This camp only has one way into it from this side of the mountain and the way in is surrounded by a lake, the other problem with that is that the entry way is very narrow and they have more guards on duty than all the people combined in Hot Springs Survivor Camp. So getting in unnoticed will be the hardest thing I have yet to do.
It would have been so much easier to cut and claw my way into the camp, by the time they would have realized that I was in most of them would already be dead. But I made Boozer a promise that I wouldn't kill anybody.
Heck most of the people I liked so it might be best to leave the guns on safety and the knife in the boot.
On My Own Accord.
Doing this was real hard, the activity in the camp was very active, especially for this time of the night.
What made it a little easier was the fact that I was alone and treading alone made it a great deal easier, imagine if I had to drag Boozer along with me into the camp. We would have surely been caught.
The thing about these "guards" are that they don't pay enough attention to what's going on around them, I made my way from bush to bush and from dumpster to dumpster waiting for the best moment to sneak out into the next place of cover.
I finally reached the infirmary inside Lost Lake Camp. Now the only thing to deal with was getting into the damned building unheard and more importantly unseen!
My worries are that the doors might be locked and I have to stand there like a bozo trying to break the door open and being caught in the process.
Ah Shit, Why Does This Always Have To Happen.
Damned Deacon you made it this far just to get caught!
While I was scavenging for anti-biotics in the infirmary Rikki and Addy came walking in. Safe to say they caught me red handed but I had the upper hand. I pulled my gun and told them to let me go and I'll be on my way out of there.
Deacon should have known for that plan not to work, but he tried it none the less. I think he's more offput by the fact that he now has to deal with Iron Mike.
She's Playing me.
Now you see Deacon doesn't want to kill anyone actually, he just wants to help Boozer at any cost. I mean any of us could relate, Boozer is the only one he has left. Wouldn't you do anything in your power and go as far as it takes!
Rikki was testing him, she knew about his code and that he enforced it to the fullest. He doesn't kill women or children, unless he absolutely has to of-course. So Rikki pulls her gun on him to set him free from his code.
I Did Not Expect That!
Needless to say they took the cooler from me to inspect what it contained, before they even saw what was inside they already had their suggestions. See what was the point of hanging onto it, I wasn't getting out of this camp without Iron Mike finding out about this.
Once they realized that I stacked up on antibiotics Addy made some very big interference's she didn't care about who I was and why I was rather stealing it than coming back. All she cared about was to save the man who needed it, Boozer.
She didn't let up, she went over Rikki's head, so to speak and stood her ground on the matter. That might be what saves Boozer in the end.
I Took The Chance, I Didn't Have Much Choice In The Matter.
After being presented with the opportunity to bring Boozer into Iron Mike's camp I had to grab it! I had absolutely no idea how all this is going to end for me and Boozer and at the current standing neither one of us had much left to lose.
So there I was directing Rikki to where I left Boozer.
While we were looping around the mountain on our way to Boozer I asked if I could see Lisa. I didn't get the answer I expected, they left her out there in the wilderness all by herself because she ran away. What kind of heartless people would let a girl go missing and not try to find her.
I'll have to get out there and find her!
By the time we got back Boozer was surprisingly still awake but things have gotten worse, far worse.
Boozer nearly shot me and Rikki and in broad daylight at that too, he was getting more delusional every passing hour! With that said at-least it's because of sickness, the man will get his head back once he is all healed up!
I think it's safer for us to keep the shotgun away from Boozer. It's just a pull of the trigger away and you fall down hard and lifelessly.
Luckily for us Boozer can snap out of those states real fast! I'm actually surprised at how fast he got out now.
We did managed to get Boozer to come with us to Lost Lake Camp to be treated. Although he was still somewhat confused as to what was actually going on. I think at first he thought I was taking him to Hot Springs Survivor Camp but they wont be able to help us in the first place._
I'm just glad we can get Boozer some proper help.
I Want To But The Scene Is Something Else.
This game has some really good storyline cut scenes! It's been a very long time since I've really played a game that really went straight to the heart. Days Gone has done this excellently!
Well that man with the red jacket, well that is Iron Mike for you folks!
