Getting setup with the startings of the new settlement to retire in.. for now..?
After getting back outside and having a quick sleep where he is wanting to build, it was back off to the boathouse in order to gather some junk, the supplies needed for the settlement to be start but also ensuring a workshop can be built.
"Got to love this power armour protecting me while underwater" Arghrash thought as he slowly walked to the other side of the river and checked out a boat, with nothing exciting on it.
The trip back to the Taffington Boathouse was a trek as usual, took time but at least a quick stop off to grab some more items for the new settlement to be built, a sleep to be ready for continuing on with the setup and then back out he went.
As Arghrash headed back from the boathouse to the city area to build, some glowing mole rats attacked him and were quite the nuisance with their burrowing underground and swarming him.
"Filthy pests need to die and let me carry on in peace" he said as he continued to kill them off.
Now was time to head back across to the other side and see just how fortified this new settlement was going to get because after all.. it would just be him until more settlers were recruited and could help maintain this location.
But the first thing after getting near the area again was to deal with additional raiders, come to try reclaim the area from Arghrash which he didn't take too kindly to.. "Well i'll be, you scumbags don't want to share and now you are getting taught a valuable lesson" he said while killing off the new raiders, making the area safe once more.
"Ah finally after the nice sleep in the bed above and clearing those extra raiders.. finally I have setup Caldeira Outpost, even if it is just the workshop and I still have to build" Arghrash thought to himself before going around to scrap anything he can that is not required and to make some more space, while getting extra resources.
While off nearer to the edge of where he will be able to build in this zone for the settlement, he came across some ghouls which had to be cleared out so he could safely build.
The laser pistol he uses was a close range rapid firing, high spread sort of laser pistol, perfect for the ghouls which were up in his face.
After killing off more ghouls and having another sleep, Arghrash built some walling to block out some areas or start making it safer for himself and future settlers.. one spot was at the top of a buildings side staircase to the roof in which, walling and a door was placed to allow getting through up there, onto the next spots but where he might setup a spot for some building or something.
Then there was one of the ways he has been coming in, which was walled off but for now could be jumped around carefully, while also blocking off a nearby set of stairs where he killed the second lot of ghouls.
Word on the radio was some settlements around his original base were getting attacked and he had to get back to see what was happening.. as he had gotten passed his metal wall and over the bridge it started to rain with some radiation in the air, making it a cool green look but harder to see the raider camp he came up on.
"I have no time for you bastards. Best you waste some ammo and not chase me" Arghrash thought as he ran away, continuing on back to the original base.
He got through to Graygarden and noticed the Gunners had been attacking but were taken out by the robots, guess they didn't expect all that retaliation to be there.. but that means his base might have been hit as well.
Upon getting back to his original base, Arghrash was greeted with some generators smoking and needing repairs, meaning they aren't working and the machine gun turrets were also acting up, so the Gunners must have hit this place up before Graygarden and he couldn't quite repair the generators.. so it was a big sleep after getting some extra things from the chest, then he was going to head back out right away.
