Bugging out at this new place
Upon heading toward the mission waypoint there was a stop off to be made which was found through the fog.. a house by the water looked appealing and would be such a nice point this way out to the East but the issue was, these damn Bloodbugs were hovering around and had to be killed.
Luckily for this first Bloodbug it hadn't noticed Arghrash walking up closer. Some quick shooting to take it out before its movements became all over the place to dodge, and avoiding its quick movement to get in close was necessary.
"I see two blood suckers down over there. But not for long" he said softly as he lined up and killed the first one and lined up the second, which had started heading his way now.
It was getting closer with each shot and was about to get up in his face, to do a good amount of damage, but Arghrash had the combat rifle out for times like these and with some quicker shooting at the Bloodbug, he got it down and did a victory jump before heading on down to the house.
This place is the Taffington Boathouse which is fitting, the shed part to the side looks like a spot to park a boat.
"Will check that shed out later because I can still hear some pesky Bloodbug noises inside the house and they need to be taken out so this place is safe" an eager yet cautious Arghrash determined as he took out one that was downstairs with no issues.
One more was left upstairs, not budging right now and was suddenly surprised to see him coming up the stairs with attempts to shoot it, thwarted by the wall. The Bloodbug started to head his way, finally and with speed to prompt the use of his V.A.T.S to make some crucial shots.
It wasn't too damaging as the wall got in the way again and allowed it to hit him hard. Still managed to finish it off without dying luckily, there was a bed in this house to give a solid eight hours sleep and enjoy waking to a safe space.
It looked like this place was used by raiders as there was a dead body from one that was chilling here, but then the bugs came and took him out and had taken over this boathouse. The trunk had some things like ammo which the .45 will be good when a good weapon is found to use them in, the molotov and frag mine are good finds as they are always handy!
"This is a decent find between the trunk and this safe and I wonder if I can use this place as my own sort of safehouse now" Arghrash thought as he looted the safe. Inside was a lot of ammo and pre-war money mostly, the money gets sold as always and more .45 rounds are always welcome.
"I better go check out the actual boathouse as well just so I am sure all is good here and I know the surroundings." He moved out of the house and opened the door, seeing some laser tripwires which needed one to be shot to remove its sensor, the other couple be disarmed as he got next to it.
They were rigged for a double barrel shotgun to go off and do some good damage to someone.. the cabinet in here had some ammo and two molotovs, this place has been well worth it and he was about to find out better news.
As Arghrash went back outside to finish exploring, he noticed something that helped make his day.
"Well i'll be a damn lucky bastard right now. A workshop is here and I can claim this as my own place to be used as I want, I better make it a bit safer from the get go" he excitedly said as he started to scrap down some items for more materials needed for mainly machine gun turrets right now.
The first turret went to protect the front of the house and placed in a higher position, to get a good longer range vantage point at any enemies attacking.
The second turret got placed aiming at the front door and rotating for if people came in the back, which also helps to cover the stairs to the second floor which is where the loot and bed is stored and the main safe spot inside the Taffington Boathouse.
The last thing being done here to make it a lot safer and to guard the loot, was up at the top of the stairs saw a metal wall and bunker door placed to provide a tough to get pass defence point for extra piece of mind as he went to sleep in preparation, to head back out across the water.
"Tomorrow will be a good day, I feel it, but at least today has been successful."
