Showcasing power is always fun
With a destroyed Helgen behind them and a bandit camp in front, crackle made light work of some bandits due to Orcanorc's strength now and it was a brief fight, with a few bandits. "Too easy fighting bandits now, isn't it Orcanorc?" Vorstag asked before getting a nod back as he finished off the last one, looting and finding some new mage robes to wear.
The creature of the ground is called a Cernunnos and it a tree or spriggan sort of elemental creature in the form of a moose or something like that family of animals, maybe the bandits took it out or it was already dead.
Camp only had a few things they wanted with black mage robes being one, so magicka regen could be faster again and reading a book to get his one handed skill increased a level.
"Ah the valuable learning experience of knowing how to improve my fighting ability and become stronger" Orcanorc announced while increasing his ability in Magicka before learning clash of champions, so swords reduce the attack damage of his targets and will be handy in melee fights.
A brief pass by of Embershard Mine to kill a bandit and wolf out front, just a quick couple of crackle blasts and he was back to running to Riverwood. Not much more down the pathway and passed the gushing water stream, Riverwood was in front of them and it is another simple village that looks like a nice place to live.
"You should join the Imperial Legion and fight the dragons" Hadvar said.
"I don't know if I want to right now, I am happy roaming about with Vorstag and adventuring, but will be killing any dragons we come across" replied Orcanorc before they talked a little bit more and parted ways.
A quick chat to Alvor the blacksmith who had some spare supplies that could be taken for the road ahead.. before Sven was complaining about being unable to get the woman he wants due to another guy interfering, he wanted a fake letter delivered to her to ensure he could get the woman to himself and Orcanorc didn't care, so he did it for the chaos fun of it!
One last thing before getting out of Riverwood and putting it to use, was to make some more items in the forge like some jewelry and some armour items. "Working away, making myself another pay day and heading on out to kill again" Orcanorc sung while smithing more items and then heading out.
A little corundrum ore vein mining and accepting some work from a Khajiit just out the front of Whiterun near the stables, accepting it so he could have more work to make more money and hopefully kill more things or people.
It was time to buy some new spells though and the ones chosen were going to be pretty sweet spells!
Creeping Cold was first and it would do frost damage and could freeze enemies but if not, hopefully making them easier to killed with melee weapons. Next up was Dragon's Teeth which will ignite all targets likely in front of him and should they die, the ground will be set ablaze to burn for longer!
It was a good idea to starting testing these spells out right away on something weaker, just to see the effect and damage it would have on and in this case, it was an elk found wandering around.
The Dragon's Teeth was used first and ignited the elk but didn't do big damage, maybe best for groups of enemies instead.. but the Creeping Cold was a stream of frost damage being done and did quite a lot of rapid damage and this made Orcanorc happy.
"Will you look at that frost stream go, haha!" cheered Orcanorc as he finished off this elk and took in the scenery and had a chat with Vorstag on which way they should go next.
