A giant task with mammoth consequences
Things really are getting tougher with some of the enemies being found out in the wild. After killing some easy wolves like they always are, another giant and mammoth camp was found after running for some time.. this one had a Tundra Giant that seemed like it was stronger than the normal ones.
"Shit shit shit!!!" Vorstag started shouting out straight after a giant smacked down onto the ground beside him which propelled him right into the air so high up!
It took some time for him to come back down to the ground which left Orcanorc and his flame Atronach to work the health down on the Tundra and normal giants until Vorstag was back on the ground and in a very bad shape.
"I got you Vorstag hang on, I am coming to heal you up enough to get you moving again" Orcanorc yelled out to him while running over to use his healing abilities and get him on his feet again, breathing okay and ready to fight again.
Once Vorstag was back on his feet it was off to the rocks for Orcanorc to let his Atronach take the brunt of the blows along with Vorstag and his very sturdy and strong body. Arrows and magic were enough to help weaken the giants and mammoths down plenty among the help of the others.
It was a time consuming task, trying to kill off all of them in this camp so it could be looted and for the experience gained to level up and increase perks usable to put the points into useful things.
Finally Orcanorc had a better idea of what he wanted to get better at for his perks, Conjuration was a big choice due to the summonings and wanting to improve it further.
The first thing to add was the Bone Collector perk, which once all 11 types of bones were collected and used at a Bone Altars he would be able to get a Skeleton Warrior to always help out on the adventures, something that would bulk his power further. Soul Raider was the next logical choice due to casting Soul Trap with his bound weapons, enabling more gems to store souls for recharging weapons or enchanting things.
Finally we come to something boosting the Bone Collector perk. This is Dead Tide to increase the maximum number of skeletons that Orcanorc could have, that will be huge once he could get enough bones and find the altars.
"Well looks like now I have perks that won't help against these mammoths, I better end them and move on" thought Orcanorc as he went berserk wtih his one handed weapons of power, becoming so much stronger that he could survive the mammoth hitting him.
He was able to quickly finish off the first one with a few quick hits and it was a close one.. then he moved on to the final mammoth of the three that were in this camp, swinging wildly and gaining even more, valuable experience.
Last thing to do here is the looting, the mammoth tusks were worth a small chunk of gold and there was gold held on the bodies of the giants which was nice to add to the stack. An enchanted item found in the big chest was the Steel War Axe of Jinxes along with a good amount of gold and a Welkynd Stone, besides that it was back off to Whiterun once more after this bit of fun.
"Hey Orcanorc, I have been looking for you to give you this note from the Jarl Siddgeir of Falkreath" shouted a boy that was running up to him.
The letter advised of how famous he was becoming, to offer the role of a Thane of Falkreath and a personal housecarl to be used.. also being able to purchase a solid plot of land in Falkreath should that be what Orcanorc wanted.
"Vorstag we should talk over this offer from the Jarl and consider a trip there one day. We could discuss this further with the Jarl and see if it will be the best choice right now" he explained as the pair went for a drink to discuss over the offer.
