Ultimately the choice was made to head to Whiterun to do some smithing work while also selling and buying some more items as Markarth was currently not a viable option to do so.
Orcanorc and Vorstag passed Fort Greymoor to know of another location to clear sometime later. They kept on running and running, until they finally reached Whiterun, sheathed their weapons and went on inside to talk to some people.
"Hey Orcanorc, if you are going to be crafting, smelting and doing a bit while we are in Whiterun, we should take a moment to check out Dragonsreach and see if the wizard has any handy spells for you" claimed Vorstag as they entered the city.
"That's a good idea and I would like some stronger spells now we are getting much stronger ourselves."
Upon getting into the city it was straight to buying more ore and ingots from the smithy shop, Adrianne was out the front so it was a quick purchase or Iron Ore, Steel Ingots and Iron Ingots. These would be helpful in creating a lot gear and weapons, most of which to be sold but to get the experience in Smithing, but not before increasing his Smithing skills to allow crafting steel items now.
"Ah the smell of burning metals as I create these steel and iron items, to be sold and get some money back. Then I think off to Dragonsreach up the hill to see what the court wizard has to offer in spells."
Of course he still had to sell the items and buy more ore from the guy inside, which could be smelted further into ingots usable whenever he wanted to.. the Gold Ingot and Silver Ingot would be a handy thing to have for jewelry especially!
Inside Dragonsreach in the court wizards area is an enchanter and Orcanorc remembered, he had some items to disenchant to learn the effects while freeing up some space.
First, the Hunting Bow of Shock Weakness to learn the weakness to shock enchantment that was followed by the Ancient Nord Greatsword of Frost Weakness, for the frost alternative.
The third thing being disenchanted due to having two of this item, was the Necklace of Recharging which helps to ensure the weapon charge something has while equipped and being used, will recharge back up to that level. Handy when using enchanted weapons for longer periods of time and fights instead of always needing soul gems that are filled, to recharge the weapons.
Both traveled to Fort Greymoor and were side tracked from buying spells this time. "We can go back later with more money to get spells and more items, Vorstag. Let's clear this place out for now" Orcanorc said after summoning the Flame Atronach and sword before charging into battle to kill off some more bandits.
The corpses were looted for what little goodies were wanted and inside the fort they were.. bandits were easy to kill not and the blade skills for one handed weapons kept increasing the longer they were used.
Further down were a mass of bandits and the stupidity of running in head first to fight, it did not end well as they were able to overwhelm Orcanorc with enough damage, to get the win.
The pair came back in with a vengeance, proceeding to strategically adapt and using the Flame Atronach as the front buffer to absorb initial attacks. It would lead to some executions of these dreaded bandits and anyone standing in Orcanorcs way, nobody was escaping from this place if they tried stopping them and it went a lot better this time.
"Only thing left to do no Vorstag.. loot up the chests inside and outside to completely clear this and get some nice items and gold to stock up on" announced Orcanorc.
Chests inside were holding things like gold of course, like always but some held arrows or potions, even some soul gems could be found which is an added bonus. What was best about this trip, aside from the leveling and experience, was an outside chest missed previously which held a Hunting Bow of Shorting and Scroll of Godform, both were highly valued and potentially useful.
The bow would drain charge from the attacked targets equipped weapons which could help stop them doing more damage and for longer, the scroll was useful for regenerating magicka in mass and quickly. That was Fort Greymoor now all cleared out and they were stocked up on more loot to sell off!
