A dragon fight into a death
Setting off towards Riften again and hearing a roar, the group knew they were about to be in for a big fight as the Primal dragon had come over the mountains, getting up close and starting to attack them.
It was magic that was required to get some early damage out and keep out of harms way for the most part.. at least until it had gotten a lot lower in health or Orcanorc could end up dead.
"Let's finish this dragon off everyone!" he shouted before running in upon its next landing where it was close to dying, allowing the bound sword to be used and not have to worry about dying to the primal dragon.
Looting the dragon and it was a luckier find this time around. There was an Imperial Bow of Withering which will get possibly sold this time, a good chunk of gold and a garnet to hold among the normal bones and scales you can take from them.
After absorbing the dragon's soul and continuing along the trail there were a group of Riekling's wandering the road.. they were tough little bastards when in a group and it wasn't expected, this regrettably was the downfall in this fight.
"We will get revenge Orcanorc, when you are ready to fight again" claimed Vorstag as Orcanorc got defeated by the Riekling's.
They went back for that sweet revenge that was wanted against these Riekling's and after almost dying to them again.. Orcanorc survived as they took these pest creatures down. It was going a bit more smoothly now, even though tough enemies were getting in the way of their progress!
Cragsland Cavern was found while riding the horse around this area as a bit of exploration to be had.. but the enemies were avoided before looking out and finding Ansilvund with an Adept conjurer waiting to fight.
He summoned a Flame Atronach to his side in this fight. Lydia and Vorstag took a small chunk of damage while Orcanorc took barely any, before they killed them off and were able to happily head to Whiterun for some items to be sold off.
Once in Whiterun it was straight to Belethor and selling the dragon bones and scales for a nice bit of gold for his hard work in slaying that primal dragon.. it would definitely help out, a slight little bit used to hire the Whiterun carriage that would take him to Riften no issues and less stress of trying to travel there without transporting except for a long horse ride.
The Riften guards are as dodgy as the people here. It is home to the thieves guild after all. "I aint paying nothing since this is an obvious attempt at a shakedown" Orcanorc replied to the guard asking for gold, for entry.
He was let in to Riften without having to pay, as the guard wanted to keep his little racket going for any other newcomers.
"So Grelod the Kind is in an orphanage hey? Maybe she isn't so kind and that's why she needs to be killed" Lydia claimed as they entered Honourhall Orphanage.
The group listened to her talk and wait until she wasn't directly in front of the kids which was soon after they had arrived.
"The Dark Brotherhood has come, Grelod. Oh and Aventus Aretino says hello" said Orcanorc before he made her pay for being a more evil carer.. he executed her with one stab.
Once he ensured she wasn't moving, it was time to head out and let the children know that Grelod will no longer torture or belittle them.
"Hooray Grelod is dead! Aventus did it!" the children were cheering to know that things would now be better for them.
Orcanorc took a rest in the best that Grelod used while the others watched Constance Michel to ensure she couldn't leave the orphanage and let Orcanorc get a solid rest for now.
