It's never a bad time to get fully invested into a game that's entire end goal is to race and beat almost as many teams as possible. There's too many to go on about, and often times just do the same thing any A.I. drivers would. Though it was also the time I bought another car.
As my Swift Sport wasn't the kind to deal with tight turns, and while I know it's a good car, it's just not a good pick for later upgrades. So, my journey to that put me through all kinds of weird experiences, including a double duel, getting smoked by a girl driver, and finding out that the main girl who sponsored by ride is still a long ways off to be challenged. I'll get you Cinderella Past Midnight!
Ah, my favorite person for the day, you find him in a parking spot, you're set for some real revving. For just a small sum of cash, he adds a bonus tweak, only for a day of racing that'll boost performance. Temporary it may be, helped me with this winning streak.
I found one parking spot last time, now continuing with my run through the expressway loops, and all the trials, finding racers, there are a lot of new parking spots I found with all kinds of interesting characters. You got the assistant manga artists, fashion models, shy girls with serious firepowers, dual team ups, businessmen, photographers, and so on.
All the other racers, tho, had spec'd out models, including your Eclipses, Skylines, Suzuki Wagons, Levin and Trueno AE86s, and Roadster RSs. But no Hondas, which is sad. Like Honda is the jelly in the peanut butter that holds the flavor well. Bad analogy I know.
Majority of the level 4 and level 5 racers from various teams were good at giving me a chance if I don't use the early few minutes to blaze through them. Apparently, my car at an early start picks up real fast, but that should be my saving grace. Especially considering how much longer it takes to get to max speed since halfway they just sped up 40 meters far, and I'm just gone.
I couldn't keep cheesing the faulty A.I., blocking their bypass, and swerving through traffic to get my wins. I was also going through a winning streak. Had one loss, but multiple wins to stack up both BP, and cash. It was fun, but these guys kind of were slouches, and I had to change my game plan. Not only that, but my wallet is capped at 4mil, by the 5th win, I've beaten a boss, and already maxxed it. So I was winning with no price money later on.
Man, what I would give to install a NOS inside. I can't do that now since I haven't really finished the 2nd act just yet. No, out of the 4 teams I'm supposed to, I beat one out of two groups for one particular. The pacing gets slow, but I just kept going anyway.
It was till I've reached Tatsuya Parking Area that I came across these two; Mocking Dove, and Albatross of The Dark Knight. And they want a "Consecutive SP Battle". Basically implying I beat the one guy, the other guy shows up to challenge me. And boy that other dude showed up, which unfortunately for him, he was in the backburner after the first.
Finally, the winnings got me enough to try out a new set of wheels. Oh, and hey, a new nickname too. Now I'm Start of Week Colonel. Though, I'd suppose it'd be better to spend some of that BP on increasing my wallet size, and also unlock level 2 tires as well.
Oh, and I also found out I can increase garage sizes to accommodate multiple cars. Starters was 5, now it's seven, and my wallet can hold 4 and half mil now. But the new car I was getting took 75% of my budget. But no regrets because this one was growing on me.
Yes, that is a Suzuki BRZ 16. Most of the unlocks I got are old Fairladys and some Toyotas I wasn't fond of. But for carrying me in the mid-game, I can definitely see myself going so much further. I'm lazy when it comes to liveries, so I just put in some rear and side-mirrored vinyl wrap layers. Of course, I put a plane on there, because with my next upgrade, I was blazing.
Having over 600K left, I got to level 2 power unit which maximizes the torque further, and allows me to get the most out of my exhaust and intake systems upgrades. But for now, I was faster, more horsepower and tons of torque. The new tires were left, and by this point I was broke.
Back to the streets, this Eclipse thought he could ghost me soon after. But look at that 6th gear, it's catching up faster. Here's the funny thing tho, this guy's team was not in my objectives list, but I thought for the near future I'd take on whoever I could, you know.
A lot of guys are left, like Swift Emperor and White Revolution. I see them wondering on the freeway, but some of them reject me because I didn't meet their conditions yet. Weird sorts even like entering a parking spot several times. Even girl racers like Eternal Polaris are out of reach. Damn, these nicknames are so cool, why can't I have one? Guess I'll have to stick around longer.
