First I would like to say that I started playing @dcrops two months ago after we (Hive Newbies) were given a task to write about blockchain games on Hive by @newbies-hive organized by Hive Learners. You can check my post from then here.

The reason why I chose dCrops game over so many others is that I don't have a lot of free time to spend playing games. I like that in this game one can plant seeds and wait for them to grow (each seed has a different time before it's ready for harvesting).

It's not necessary to play for a minimum amount of minutes or hours per day, rather once every couple of days is more than enough, and it takes a minute or two - to plant or harvest seeds. I like that very much. 😊

Like in real life, this game has 4 seasons - each season lasts for 15 days. The Fall season is about to end today and planted a lot of different plants and harvested many fruits, vegetables, and spices. Over the last 2 months, I gathered several plots of land and seeds for each season, so I think now I am ready to start playing better than before.

QUEST

This season I decided to take on the challenge and try to do the quest, something I was not able to do any season before since I didn't have enough land or seeds to even consider this option.

As you can see from the image above, I had 7 tasks I needed to do:

• Plant 1 Garlic seeds
• Plant 4 Thyme seeds
• Sells 1 Hops (3 stars)
• Harvest 5 Garlic crops
• Harvest 1 Sage crops
• Harvest 2 Sage crops
• Harvest 4 Sunflower crops

At first glance, I thought, I can do it. I checked the seeds that I had and bought the ones that I was missing in the market. However, I noticed that the last task (Harvest 4 Sunflower crops) will not be possible for me, because none of them were available on the market for me to buy and I didn't have any.

I decided to reroll the task (which allows you to get a different task, it costs 10 Crops) - and I got another one: "Plant 4 Beetroot seeds").

In the image above, you can see that I planted 1 Garlic seed and 4 Thyme seeds, and the new task that I got (planting 4 Beetroot seeds). I went to the market bought some seeds and planted them as well.

A couple of days passed I was able to harvest the seeds that I planted to get the crops.

I was well on my way to successfully accomplish my first dCrops Quest and get the rewards... Until...

All the Hops that I harvested came back with only 1 star, and my task requested that I sell one Hop with 3 stars. I was disappointed that I didn't get the crop with 3 stars and was unable to finish the task and the entire quest.

However, all was not lost, because I still had some Crops tokens that I could use to try to reroll the task and get something that I can do, and hopefully complete the quest before the end of the season.

After a couple of attempts, I got the task to plant 3 carrot seeds which I still had. Well... I had two of them and needed to buy 1 more to be able to plant all 3 of them. After visiting the market and buying the carrot seeds I needed, I went to "my farm" to plant them.

Lo and behold...

All the tasks were completed. Finally, I was able to claim the reward and open the mystery box.

Please wait, please wait...
And so I waited to see what rewards are hiding in the chest. Not long passed and the loading finished, the rewards were visible to me.

Now I saw my Reward Chest, and I needed to open it to see what 10 items are inside...
Who knows, there might be some Common, Rare or Epic, or even better Legendary Items waiting for me...

Honestly, I was expecting some very cool rewards, awesome seeds I have never seen before, etc. I guess it didn't happen this time. However, there are some mystery seeds that I still haven't opened, so maybe something "Epic" is waiting for me there.

Who knows, maybe next time I will be lucky and I get some Legendary items.
