Good day everyone! Today I'll love to take you through some basic guides on how to navigate your way around the minetest or mineclone game with your smartphone as a new and prospective player. For the past few weeks, I've been asked by different people to guide them on how to play the game, so I've come up with a video that can easily serve as a guide that comes in handy whenever anyone wants to get onboard the game with their mobile phones.
For a start, you'll first need to download the latest version 5.7.0 of the minetest app on their website, after which you can watch this video tutorial by Rosecane to get a detailed explanation of how to join the city of Neoxian minetest server. Once that's done and you've found your way into the city of Neoxian minetest world, then this video will come in handy to help you play the game if you're using a smartphone.
So without further ado, this video cuts across a few basics you should know as a new user when you're playing with your smartphone, such as the following:
- First, I talked about moving or walking around the world. It's highly essential to walk down to a safe place immediately you get online, and one of the ways to do that is to walk towards the names of those who are online on the server by the time you login.
- Secondly, I talked about some dangerous objects and flowers to avoid in order for players lives to not be reduced unknowingly; this also includes the need to avoid pits and how to swim or travel through the river without drowning.
- Thirdly, I talked about the importance of getting into a safe place once it's night. Night is usually a dangerous time to walk around, so if you're fortunate to get to the village before nightfall, then it's better you go inside a house and shut the door behind you to avoid monsters following in. But if you didn't get to the village, I'll advise you to log off the server and come back when it's daytime, so you won't get killed by monsters. Another thing to do is build a shelter around yourself until it's daytime, when you can continue your journey.
- Lastly, I shared a guide on how to get tools, like breaking trees. I also talked about how to build your house and how to craft different items for a better gaming experience within the world.
That's about all for today, if there is a need for further guides then I can work towards it subsequently, but for now, I hope the likes of @merit.ahama @nkemakonam89 @moremoney28 @sholex94 and many others will find this helpful in their course towards easy game play experience.
Thanks so much for your time, have a blessed day.
