You stake Rplanet nft and rigs, you earn aether per hour. You can even stake nfts of other projects in the wax network and still earn aether. The base token in the game Aether Rplanet.
The game management explains, 'The hourly aether production of the nfts of other games may decrease or even decrease, but the hourly aether production of the rigs and nfts of Rplanet will never decrease.'
I also got some nfts of the game, I staked the nfts. I earned aether hourly. By spending these aethers, I bought other nfts and started staking again. So, weeks later, I was able to enlarge my account.
Now I could earn more aether per hour, but there was a problem. The value of Aether was decreasing day by day. It was even dropping so much that it took longer to get the lowest paying nfti with my next aether savings.
I also stopped buying nft with aether, I didn't even touch the account for a while, but thanks to aether production, 24 million aether was accumulated.
The game management announced a new roadmap in those days and reaffirmed that ether will be the most basic token. However, there was a problem. There were even multiple problems.
They said 'hourly aether production of nfts will decrease.' As players, we were shocked and reminded from every channel we could find why what they said before and what they are saying now is contradictory, as they previously promised that rplanet nft and rigs would not reduce their aether production. The answer they gave us was sad indeed: 'There is too much aether and we must reduce it.' Before the system changed, my hourly aether production was 13500, now it is 4995.
Yes, there was indeed a lot of aether and there was still a lot of aether being produced. In fact, as a precaution in this situation, they introduced the 'claim limit' rule in transferring the aether produced in the system to the account. The base claim limit is set to 10000 aether and if you try to transfer aether to the account without increasing the claim limit, more than 10000 aether will be burning. To increase the claim limit, you had to pay aether. However, the rising claim limit was decreasing by 1% every day/every hour (I'm not sure which one is correct). A complete combustion mechanism. It's actually a nice system, but I got caught in the wrong.
I told you I have saved 24 million aether. While testing 24 million aether on the new system, I locked it in a system that I don't know what it is yet. It turns out that the system I thought I had locked was the buy menu of RDAO, the dao token of Rplanet. I got 19 RDAOs for my 24 million aether and I'm really upset.
So what am I doing with RDAOs right now? I staked my RDAOs from the RDAO staking menu with the Metafarming option in the game. We stake RDAO and earn WAX in return. Although my hourly WAX earnings decrease as the amount of RDAO in the pool increases, there is nothing else to do. We wait until a miracle happens.
All investments have risk. I know that. In fact, I know that games that are a combination of games and earnings carry more risk. At first, I was aware of the risks. However, here we see that the game management does not keep their word.
My experience with this game;
- Every investment has risk, I knew this and learned it again by doing and living.
- Even the projects that go well can go wrong in a very short time.
- Even if the projects have very good ideas, the wrong decisions made by the managers can alienate the investors from the project.
- Investment should not be made in only one coin, and beautiful dreams should not be loaded into a single project.
