Today, I’m going to share some essential tips about the game Loot Legends: Rogue Dungeons, that Roguelite Dungeon Crawler on the HYCHAIN network which, if you’re anything like me, has probably already sucked up several hours of grind and strategy from your life. But let’s be real, it’s just too much fun. And if you’re looking for efficient ways to power up your character without overthinking it, Tasks and Events are your golden path. Literally. Keep reading to understand this better.
The Basics: Daily Tasks
The first thing you need to grasp is that Daily Tasks are pretty much your bread and butter in the game.
These are the missions you do almost on autopilot, but at the end of the day, they reward you with some valuable resources to improve your character. Some of them are as simple as collecting Gold in Homeland, which, let’s be honest, is a breeze. You log in, collect it, and bam, you’ve completed a task. Now, if you want something a bit more engaging (and better rewards), you can dive into missions that involve participating in the Arena — the PvP mode. More active missions like these reward better in Daily Activity.
You might be wondering:
(Okay, but why focus so much on these daily tasks? Can’t I just grind monsters, get EXP, Coins, and Skill Points?)
Of course, you can, but here’s perhaps the best reward for your effort: when you complete all the daily tasks, especially the last two, you earn two tickets to spin the Premium Box roulette. The Premium Box contains pets of various qualities, including orange, which, for those unfamiliar, means pets of maximum quality. These pets can significantly change your build and power in the game. Imagine a pet that blows up enemies around it with an insane attack? Yeah, these little critters are the kind of thing you’ll only find in that roulette, and the tickets you earn from tasks are the fastest way to get there without spending money.
Events: The Secret to Fast Progress
Besides tasks, Events are another big move to consistently increase your character's power. But the most interesting events are those involving your character’s power level. This is because, as you meet the requirements of these events, you not only earn rewards but also accelerate your hero's growth more strategically. Want an example? Participating in the power-up event can reward you with fragments of the Bomb Rat pet.
Now, if you haven’t checked out the Bomb Rat yet, I recommend you do that ASAP.
This pet is purple quality (so it’s already quite the beast) and has an area damage ability that’s insane. As the name suggests, it literally places bombs that explode, causing massive damage to enemies around it. For any player who enjoys a crowd-control-focused build or wants to improve the area damage of their team, the Bomb Rat is a must-have.
Don’t Forget the Daily Check-in
Another simple action, this will only take a few seconds of your time. You just need to log into the game and collect your reward.
Of the various options like Coins, Diamonds, Skill Points, and Scraps, I’d say you might want to focus on the pet fragments. It takes exactly one full month to acquire your orange-rarity pet. You should also note the Cumulative Check-in option, which tracks the sequence of check-ins you’ve done over the days. The reward is similar but in better quantities. Except for the fragments, which aren’t available in this option.
