Introduction

About last week, I went to eat out at Lian Kee with my boss. This place is actually about a 10 min walk away from our office. Lian Kee is a hawker stall but after 4pm they have the whole place to themselves until 11pm.

Lian Kee is a hawker stall that's part of the Meisek Restaurant. This is one of the best place for hawker centers in Subang. I think the name is kind of cool for this restaurant because in cantonese Meisek = haven't eaten yet. There a lot of different hawker stores around but I would say Lian Kee is the best. They specialize in bean sprout, chicken rice, porridge, and chicken shredded kuey teow noodle. It's better if you go after 4pm because they will have a lot of white chicken. If you go before 4pm, there will be more roasted chicken. You can see below the google reviews. I feel it's not accurate because some of the reviews went to the Meisek restaurant and you can see that people liked the chicken here and some didn't but overall people loved it.

Food

I ordered a drumstick rice set which came with drumstick and rice. I added on thighs. If you can't tell from that I love dark meat! I got some chilli and ginger sauce and mixed it together. There's also soup there that is complimentary and refillable for free. I don't remember what this soup is called but it's a typical soup that goes with chicken rice.

Concluding Thoughts

I paid for the bill this time. Honestly, the price I think is ok. There is a lot of inflation now so it's hard to say but I think it's worth it. The chicken is nice and juicy. My boss liked the gizzard and I learned that this was the stomach; I didn't even know people ate that part of a chicken. The people working there gets the order quick and the food comes quick as well. Anyways, I have ate here a few times already since this post and I will eat more in the future as well! I have shared the whole menu below and it's nice because they have it all in one page.

Wow, this is my favorit when I go to Malaysia, it taste fresh at night delicious and of course healthy with spices. Thank you happy day.

oh you love chicken rice? Isn't there this too in Indonesia?

In Indonesia there is chicken rice food and the taste is different from the one in Malaysia, maybe from the mixture of spices too. There is another food in Kuala lumpur that is quite famous, namely Hainan chicken rice, the place to forget. Every time I go to Malaysia, I am accompanied by friends from Indonesia who have become Malaysian citizens. Thank you very much. Greetings.

oh ya hainan chicken rice is awesome :D. you should go again to Malaysia soon. get some chicken rice again xD. is the nasi lemak different too?
