Introduction

Last Saturday, I went to TTDI Meatpoint with my friends. It was kind of an early birthday celebration for my friend since his birthday was this month. This is a restaurant that I've been wanting to try but never had chance to try. They have good google reviews which I will share later.

TTDI Meatpoint

TTDI Meatpoint is a steakhouse that specializes in steaks but they also had a lot of other dishes in their menu. You can see below in the google reviews that they have 4.9 stars out of 5 out of 15,788 reviews. I don't think I've seen a restaurant get this many reviews and have such a high rating. This was place is near KL and it took probably 40 minutes to 1 hour from my house since there was a bit of a jam.

Ambience

I forgot to take a picture of the inside of the restaurant. I planned to take it before leaving the restaurant but I probably forgot after having all the wonderful food. Anyways, the inside was nice in my opinion. It wasn't overly decorated, the tables were spaced out nicely and everything was super clean. We even had a button to call for assistance. I think for ambience this restaurant was more than satisfactory and it's probably one of the reasons why their reviews are so high. They had a place where you can choose your meat and it came at difference prices based on the weight.

Food

We decided to order and share the food. This way we can try all the different food in the restaurant. The first picture was some bread and butter which was complimentary. Honestly, it was really good for bread and butter. I'm not sure how to explain it but it was good. As for drinks, we all had honey lemon tea as this was the only drink bottomless aka refillable. The first dish you see is the Angus Ribeye with some vegetables and mashed potatoes. We also had two extra flavoring for the steak which was salt and garlic butter. The angus ribeye was super delicious and tender; it went great with either of the extra flavoring and the sides were great as well.

Then there was the lamb loin bone in which came with fries and coleslaw. We chose the chimichurri sauce and the other one I don't remember. Honestly the lamb was tasty as well but it was kind of hard work eating this one because of the bones. Then you can see we also had a beef lasagna with some salad as the side. Honestly, I don't think I ever had lasagna before but it was super good. My friend really liked this one and said it was the best lasagna he's had. The outside was super crispy and the inside was super yummy. Then you can see we also ordered carbonara and if I recall we ordered salmon with the carbonara to try a different protein. The sauce was really thick which I liked. This carbonara was very nice in my opinion. My friend he said he has tasted better. Lastly for dessert, we got a mango bingsu. This was a lovely dessert and my friend and I were both shocked that this cost only RM15 when normally some other places will sell this for 25-50.

Concluding Thoughts

My friend paid the bill for this one but we split the pay so I later banked in the amount for my share. There was three of us that shared this meal and we each paid around RM175 for this which is about $38. Honestly, I don't always spend this much for food and since it was my friend's birthday I think it's ok. In addition to that, the service was superb. The food was amazing and I can totally get why the reviews are so high. They are definitely legit reviews and I would definitely come back on a special occasion. Another thing I thought was amazing was that their menu was quite broad so if all the food was at this level, I think that's super impressive. I will share parts of the menu at the end of this post after the credits.

Thank you for reading and the support. Please do share your eating out moments in the eating out community! Hoping to grow this community.
