Hello Dear #HiveGarden Page Friends; ππ
Do you ever think about stones? Stones are perhaps one of the most ignored creatures of nature. We all love soil. We love walking on soil, lying on the sand at beaches, planting plants in soil, or anything else we do that involves soil.
But; Most of the time we don't think much about stones, which are the raw form of soil. We mostly know about rare stones or a few of the stones used in certain designs, but we are not aware of the stones we walk on or see around us every day. While walking in the park area called Water Valley in BaΕakΕehir district of Istanbul, when I saw the stones in the design of the park and the small stream in the park, I realized that we do not think much about stones and that stones do not take much part in our lives.
Stones; They turned into soil as a result of millions of years of cracking and crumbling. I do not know scientifically whether all soil consists of stones. However, we know more or less that billions of years ago, the earth or all the hard celestial bodies in space were composed of hard rocks. As a result of the hard rocks, that is, stones, in these or similar structures crumbling over a long period of time, the soil that has provided us with the possibility of life and provided us with our food until now was formed. In fact, soil uses its fertility not only to produce food, but also contains the raw materials of our clothes and the building blocks of our homes. source
Stones are one of the most beautiful structures that can be used in garden designs. However, as far as I have seen, especially in Turkey, I have almost never seen decoration with stones in the garden designs of those who build a beautiful house for themselves or prefer to live in beautiful villas. However, as far as I can see in the park here, very beautiful garden designs can be made with different stones.
After I saw that these stones were placed so beautifully, I started to think why I shouldn't have a beautiful stone in my garden. I will even give some advice to my relatives about this. For example, I know someone who has a beautiful villa. Why shouldn't that acquaintance have a nice big stone or rock in a corner of his garden? Wouldn't it be nice to have a stone in your garden or somewhere you deem appropriate for its design?
Stones have a lucky aspect in their world of existence. Since they are not existentially living beings, they are not susceptible to harm. In fact, any displacement or disintegration does not mean that they are damaged. In fact, due to their hard nature, humans in particular are weaker than stones. For stones there is only existence. Anyway, the longer these topics get, the more they expand and do not stop at a clear point. It's a bit like philosophy.
Yes; I prepared a small post about stones, which have different structures in nature and our gardens.
I would like to thank #Hive and #Ecency for preparing these platforms for us.
I would also like to thank the #HiveGarden page for allowing us to share posts about our gardens and greenery, one of nature's most beautiful creatures.
Let me ask you a question then. What kind of stone would you like to have in your gardens or wherever you want it to be?
