Greetings fellow Gardeners,
I have great news. You may recall a post I made sometime ago about buying a potted strawberry π plant and getting about ten other potted plants from transplanting the runners from the original plant.
Well well well...
Guess what? The new plants having started producing their own strawberries πππ
Yup yup yup!!!
Have a look and see what the Lord has done. This experience just reminded me of how amazing the creator is.
It's spring here in Japan so I suppose we'll be having strawberries from our balcony every spring from now on. At least that's how we envision it. The expert farmers out there please tell me I right in the comments below. Lol π€£π
It has been raining a bit over the past couple of days and the natural rain water has been doing wonders for the plants. I suspect we'll be harvesting our first batch of strawberries ππ before the week in through. Throughout the entire process we didn't have to use any fertilizers so we are elated about that too.
There was a period in the winter when we thought we were going to loose the plants, but thankfully most of them survived.
Are you looking forward to a harvest this season? Write a post about it with a few pictures or drop a comment below. It may make someone berry, berry happy.
Until next time, stay connected and stay active.
