One day it rains, the next day it's sunny and the temperature is over 25°C.
Such was the end of May and the beginning of June. These weather conditions favored the pumpkins in my garden for rapid development.
There is a saying, when something beautiful grows, it "Grows like after the rain".
These days the temperature goes over 30°C, but with the help of daily watering (thanks to my mom who waters them and who regularly sends me photos 🙂), the pumpkins are making good progress and will survive this warm period.
Luxurious wide leaves prevent the sun's rays from directly hitting the stems of the plant and endangering the development of the small embryo.
From this embryo, I expect a pumpkin that will be entered in (I hope strong) the first #hwc2024 competition.
Thanks to @hive-world-champ, @der-prophet and @beeber for organizing this contest and sharing with is information about it.
