Hello everyone!
It is the first time that I share a post, photos and thoughts about my plants here in this #HiveGarden community and it makes me happy to tell you today about the succulents that I have outside on my terrace, which I intend to gradually turn into a beautiful garden.
Many of us like plants and flowers, there are those who are lucky enough to even have a small garden or orchard, some of us are working on it, we are having more and more plants and pots to create a dreamy future green environment and thus enjoy the nature at home too.
But not everything is inside the house, but also outside, and on the terrace when I came to live here they had left some pots there in the open air with some plants, but they seemed neglected and some were dead. So in the end I decided to throw some away but I left two of them in the hope that they would resurface, although I haven't really done much since.
I simply put some extra water in summer, because they were dry, it is true that they are both succulent plants and they resist a lot, they endured abandoned for a long time, but of course in summer the heat is very strong and perhaps they needed a little help.
Then nothing, just that the sun, the air and a bit of rain from time to time had an effect on them, and it seems that it has been... One day on the terrace I notice that they are better, they are more beautiful, and shortly after, Another day, I look again and in addition to having better color, the succulents have flowers!
As if by magic, those branches have grown a bit with a kind of buds or bulbs that have opened up to show beautiful yellow flowers that no one expected to see. A nice surprise.
Now the succulents are not only green, well one of them it is still in process but they also have their touches between gray and pink and then a contrast of intense color, some flowers that adorn these plants with an almost geometric effect and that give the terrace more charm.
A hope and a reality that has surprised me, I was counting on these plants to improve because in themselves the succulents are beautiful, as well as resistant, but without much attention but with enthusiasm they themselves have reappeared, anxiously, without waiting for spring, no need. Now is a good time too, why not, we can enjoy all those flowers that have come out and those that seem to be coming out very soon.
And there we will be vigilant, looking at them every time we go out and enjoying new little yellow surprises. Because nature is like that, always beautiful, amazing and surprising.
