Hello everyone!
Let's enter a flowery garden, brimming with color and full of life. We can sometimes experience that feeling when we open the door and go out into a natural space that someone has created with plants and flowers, turning it into a little paradise where we can take a deep breath and where our eyes experience the pleasure of observing the pure natural beauty.
Well, my grandmother has one of those gardens in her own house, and it is now in spring when everything is more beautiful, everything grows and flourishes in a joyous vegetal ecstasy. So I welcome you to a little green corner, to the grandma's garden.
The Grandma's Garden
And what are we going to find?
To start, as soon as we get closer, we can already glimpse a multitude of pots that have grown over time to create a beautiful collection, especially geraniums (geranium gardens are something very Spanish...), a lovely collection of geraniums of all colors: roses, fuchsias, coral, white, bicolor and of course red. Vibrant colors, wonderful in contrast to the green of the leaves, the blue of the sky and many colors of the views outside. They contrast with our own gaze that marvels.
Although some are yet to hatch and for now their green leaves await their triumphant moment to show off their flowers.
And all those geraniums also compete with other flowers, like a floral competition of nature, with some classical pink carnations and a very elegant red rose that becomes the queen of the place, but also with other humbler and lesser-known ones such as the purple cute cuphea (I have had to look at its name in the PlantNet app
).
Not only flowers, but also impressive, large plants and plants that are older than myself, such as the super green pilistra (I have also searched for its exact name), other long spider or ribbon plant, or many ferns that give freshness, humidity and greener to the whole natural space. And to add variety, always some nice succulents will give more originality to the whole set. As if it were a sample of all the plants that we could have in the same garden.
What else? Also fruits.
If we want more, we cannot forget the ones that bear fruit, a motivated tomato plant that has already produced some tomatoes and that shares space, soil, air and water when watered with all the other flower pots.
But I wanted to add other photos of the summer because the star is a tree, yes, a small (still) tree, it's a fig tree, one of those that has huge soft leaves and bulbs appear on its branches that end up becoming delicious and sweet figs. And here we can see how many of them came out, all incredibly very tasty!
A garden of Eden where we can eat its fruits, the paradise of flowers and figs. And this space is changing and it looks different throughout the year, so every time we look out we perceive how the leaves fall (which must be removed and swept) how we must take care of it in winter although everything is greener and more uniform but also beautiful, and how in spring and summer we have to water everything much more and thus they give us more flowers and colors, a natural joy that is contagious only by looking around us.
A humble, simple and beautiful garden, with no other pretensions than to be able to have closer to the precise nature, to be able to feel it and take care of it, and my grandma does a fantastic job, so I hope you liked the visit to her lively, green, colorful and flowery garden.
