Hello Hive Gardeners from near and far!
It's @fantagira here. As many of you, Leo Gardeners know, I've been curating from the Leo loaded Hive Garden account @hivegardenleo on Threads, making sure that anyone sharing content via LeoGarden Threads is rewarded!
We are scanning the following tags on #threads on a regular basis:
#hivegarden
#gardening
#homesteading
#flowers
#greentuesday
#permaculture
#nature
and more!
Like I mentioned in the previous #LPUD post - it took quite some effort to encourage our gardeners to show their gardening efforts on #threads. At first there were few and far between and we were a little sad to see our awesome delegation sitting at near 100% most days.
Week after week (after announcing, poking and pushing our gardener's friends to thread) we began to see more and more #hivegarden posts and today I can proudly say that we have quite a vibrant community of gardeners and nature lovers who post threads with our community tags on a regular basis.
I mean, check this out! We're not far behind the most popular tags on #threads with 24 #hivegarden tags. That's was a nice little surprise to stumble upon while checking the trending tags today.
As we curate more, so does our #LEO stash grow and while our wallet doesn’t always reach 150 Leo by the 15th of each month to participate in LPUD and we were resistant to Powering Up less than the minimum for the LPUD badge, we also don’t want to see our Leo tokens laying around dormant, so we decided we’ll power up each month despite the balance.
Now to the funny part!
I messaged @riverflows 2 days in advance in Discord to say I’ll be writing LPUD post this month. She’s a busy lady and there is also quite a bit time zone difference between us, so messaging in advance seemed necessary in order to organise this LPUD post on time.
As expected, she replied the following day, when she woke up and we talked about a few details and I was almost asleep when I saw her message coming up in Discord a few hours later.
She told me the cover picture us ready for me in drafts and… that she powered up all remaining liquid Leo that was in community wallet.
‘NOOOOO’ I wanted to scream, but it was too late, the deed was already done ✅
We Powered Up, alright. Only 1.5 hours before #LPUD began. Cause you know… time difference 😂
We chuckled a little at this mishap, but what can one do? Luckily she had a few liquid Leo in her wallet, which she transferred and Powered Up on the actual LPUD and we’re still participating with 50 Leo Tokens, which is a minimum to participate in the draw for smaller delegations.
Prize pool of delegations is juicy when you Power Up with 150 Leo tokens on LPUD, but we are already extremely grateful for the amazing delegation from @khaleelkazi which makes our regular curation of gardening threads possible.
What we love is to be engaged with the broader LeoFinance and Hive community in general and participating in initiatives like LPUD by @leogrowth is one amazing way to do so.
The Leo counter goes back to 0 and another month of growing our curation account starts. Hoping to see many more #hivegarden tagged threads this month!
Speaking of the community…
Thread and win 5% beneficiary of LPUD posts!
To encourage members of our community to become more active in LeoFinance's own Twitter, otherwise known as #Threads we will be setting one gardener who threads with #hivegarden tag on a regular basis as a 5% beneficiary of our #LPUD posts.
Last time we chose @jenthoughts who delights us almost daily with her #hivegarden pictures as well as food she prepares from her own harvest. Jen is our little star and she continues with a great activity on threads, but we would like to reward other contributors too!
With increased activity we had a tougher choice this month, so I decided to pick 2 of the most active community threaders this time!
Congratulations to @iamchimary and @marajah ! You will both be rewarded with 5% beneficiary of this post.
Keep up the great work guys! We love your threads 💙
May your Leo Garden continue to be abundant, and I'll see you next month for LPUD!
