Hello friends.
This is my first post in the #hivegarden community. My name is Helin and I live in Ankara. I was born and grew up in a small house with a garden in the province of Malatya. And I visit my family living here at every opportunity. Today, I would like to share with you a few photos from the garden of my house where I was born and raised. With the arrival of spring, work begins to revive its gardens.

Now is the time to plant seeds and care for existing plants. For now, we have mint, onion, garlic and strawberries growing in our garden. And seeds of tomatoes, peppers, eggplant and parsley planted to get cedar to be planted.

  • By summer the garden will be full of vegetables and fruits. The vegetables and fruits we grow in our garden throughout the summer will add flavor to our table. And it will continue to be on our tables in the winter season with canning and drying methods.*

For example, we can use this mint plant in our salads fresh throughout the summer. For the winter, we can dry it and turn it into a spice.

And the plum tree that I love so much is decorated like brides. I hope we can eat the fruits this year too.
In the coming months, I will try to share with you again when our garden is full.
Stay with love.

You have a big garden and your plants are looking healthy! It would be great if you can share how you turn the mint plant into spice! Looking forward on seeing your garden grow!

Hello, I will try to share the new version of the garden in 1-2 months. It's actually very easy to spice up mint. We collect the mints that have grown enough and separate them from the stem. And we dry it so that it is not exposed to direct sunlight. If it is dried in direct sun, its color will darken. We crush the dried mint leaves with our hands and our spice is ready.😊

Oh! Nice! Thank you for the information. I really thought the process was long and hard! Looking forward on your beautiful plant filled garden soon.

I love the strawberries, looking forward to them bearing fruit. Good afternoon!

Me and my little girl are waiting impatiently for the strawberries to bear fruit. It is very enjoyable to collect and eat directly from the garden.
