Garden Journal January 2022: Learning from my Mistakes

in #hive-1406353 years ago
In previous incidents in my garden that stole the fruit of my pumpkin plant, I have learned not to be complacent even though this country is known to be peaceful and strict by law.

Last year, no one interfered with my plants and they just took pictures of them. When I became kind to the people who passed by my garden, some were abusive. Now I am preparing to put a barrier around my garden with a height of 1 meter.

I will be using a green net to protect my garden and my only problem now is the pole holding the net. I’m just going to look for scrap steel or thick wood around this week.

Of the pumpkin fruits left now there are only 4 out of 10. 3 of the pumpkins with 6 kilos each were stolen, one we cooked and dish for a whole week. The two we gave to our neighbor.

So far my CHAYOTE plant is doing well. CHAYOTE body grows fast and its branches vines spread fast! And to support the crawling of its branches, I added some fiber rope.

These are the small body part of the MORINGA tree that I planted. My friend left it next to our house. It grows quickly and takes root if watered daily. Just make sure there is a cover on top of it, so as not to rot and damage the body.

And this is the last one, my tomato plant! These are just four that I really meant to take care of and plant, I will try to take care of them and multiply the fruit. Exactly the reproduction of tomatoes in today’s climate, not too cold and hot.

Sort:

They said when you lost something, it never belonged to you in the 1st place. However, if you let it go without so much sadness, it will return to you, multiplied.

Hopefully you will harvest abundantly 😊

Is this front yard garden btw?

Sorry for the late response. Yes, it is the front of my garden.
Somehow I was happy because I was able to give 3 pumpkins to my friends even though it was a bit small. ^_^
