Greetings friends of #hivegarden, it is a pleasure for me to be able to start my publications in this great community, I have a lot of love for plants and every day I look for ways to give them welfare and care. I will show you as part of my beginning how I have been improving my garden and little by little a place for my plants. Let's begin.

Comencemos.

I started my day by looking at the garden and visualized that the garden needed a good maintenance, since I had traveled for a few days that I was away. I reached for the lawn mower and started my work for the day. Quickly, everything was changing as I put more effort into it, I managed to remove the cut grass and pile it up with some soil. It's a good way to pile it up in the yard and let it burn over time, so in a couple of weeks I'll have good topsoil.

My little project since the end of November/Mi pequeño proyecto desde finales de Noviembre

This my small cultivation, I have some plants that I consider very important to have at home, because they contribute to the welfare of the kitchen. Among these plants I have: basil, hibiscus, lemon balm, cucumber, tomato, garlic, good herbs, Spanish celery and in the furrows I have planted some chili and paprika. Certainly, I have had problems with the paprika because the bachacos eat them and do not let them grow, sometimes that makes me despair, but there must be some way to counteract that pest.

Little by little I have been buying fruits and extracting their seeds and then drying them under the sun for about six hours, then I leave the seeds to soak for about six hours and then leave them in some pots with fertilized soil. The seeds are born slowly and when they are already 5 centimeters in size I transplant them and look for a place for them to grow.

I have also been raising some Californian earthworms to produce Humus which would be good for me to feed the plants and scare off some insects.

Your Hierba buena looks great. I first encounter this plant in the 1980s and I entirely forgot what it looks like.

Yes, they are very beautiful, I will continue to germinate some seeds this week.
